Barack Obama’s Administration’s top Contender for Treasury Secretary Continues on with the thread of Sexism of the Obama Campaign

In politics on November 8, 2008 at 8:14 pm

I have a friend who used to go around quoting Ravi Batra.  It was a mantra. Every conversation was injected with his economic theories and beliefs.  I was so inundated with talk of Batra.  I finally read the book my friend let me borrow.  I liked this book because every idea was fresh and it was full of theories I had never been exposed to. Batra talked about economic cycles and the types of groups that would control the cycle.  Some economic cycles were controlled by what he termed aquisitors, people from the business cycle, and others were controlled by other types of groups it’s been a long time so I don’t exactly remember all the groups.   However there was one theory about a particular group that made me catch my breath in shock and think “say it isn’t so”.   This was the theory that when economic cycles are controlled by intellectuals sexism and discrimination rises and the life chances of women are more challenging.  I had not given this theory much of a thought until I observed how the Obama campaign and now administration in waiting has treated women.  I would use the term short.  The Obamites treat women short.  They make a crazy comment and then act like its no big deal.  However it is.

Obama’s embrace of various characters who have been mean and rude and put women down is actually quite disappointing.  For a man who’s awfully committed to abortion rights even saying that if a baby lives during a third term abortion to seek medical care for a child born alive that you can touch, feel, has all of his toes, and fingers, etc. would interfere with a woman’s right to choose.  He has shown a lack of indifference for men who say nasty things about women.  His associates and his choices indicate that his passion for abortion is not particularly for women but for men who don’t want babies.  While I love his family and think they are beautiful, his passionate support of abortions always makes me question how many babies did he abort to get to this family ten, twenty, thirty, one hundred.  His passionate support of abortion at any costs casts his beautiful family into the farce category for me.  In other words the one area where Obama says he supports women seems to be awfully self serving.

The areas where Obama could have made a significant impact and difference in the lives of women in doing something symbolic and life changing for women such as choosing Hillary Clinton for the VP slot was not done and by not choosing Hillary Clinton he showed a remarkable callousness towards the feelings of women.  While some would argue that they had a rather nasty primary fight, if the goal is to be as successful as the Clinton Administration who were rumored to have despised Al Gore but chose him anyway because they thought he would help them win the presidency then Obama is not headed in the direction of compromise for the good of the contry.  Even though Obama did win the election the choice for VP of a man who dropped out of the election first show’s a startling unwillingness to do what’s best for the country, but to do what’s best for his ego.  In other words the woman Hillary Clinton was the best qualified for the slot but Obama chose Biden who dropped out of the race early for his ego.   Not only did he choose Biden a man who stroked his ego for VP.  He chose Biden a man who had shown a remarkable animus towards women.  [see my blog entry on Biden, I remeber how he treated Anita Hill].

As I read about possible Treasury Secretary candidates, I was a little taken aback to see that Larry Summers was leading the list considering that he said  “women were not genetically equipped to excel in Science and Mathematics. I was not particularity surprised that Obama would put this man as a major adviser on his campaign with his views towards women because I had given up on Obama after seeing the Palin wink commercial.

A commercial that I equated to the equivalent of a Willie Horten ad.  Willie Horten was a criminal that the republicans used in an election to scare people into voting for George W. Bush in 1988.

Willie Horton Ad

After seeing the Palin ad, a Horten ad with different names and different circumstances. An ad that was directed to a woman with five children and was the leader of a state.   I was pretty convinced that Obama and his administration will not be woman friendly so hearing the news that Summer’s a top Obama adviser  thought women were not genetically disposed to math and science was not surprising.

As I began to think about Summers I remembered also that he was also that guy who could not get along with the Harvard University Faculty and had to resign as President of Harvard.  I felt a strong sense of deja-vu as I read this and thought about one person I read about who kept being shuttled from the presidency of one company to another and being let go with a multi million dollar parachute.  This analogy fits Summers.  When you hang around with people from a certain group they are going to keep giving you high level positions whether you are emotionally equipped for them or not.

It is ironic that the first “Black” President of the United States is a sexist.

Palin as a member of Feminists For Life Leads by example not by words

In politics, presidential race, republicans on August 29, 2008 at 8:20 pm

I think one thing most people can agree on is that democrats try to claim the lead on being concerned about people in general.  They have made this their niche.  The world barely knows that Cheney rose from steel worker and union man to Vice President of the United States.  Meanwhile in the democratic party, unless you are black these Horatio individuals barely arise.  The same thing applies to helping people.  As Obama expounds on the poor and the downtrodden, his brother sits behind shanty curtains looking as if he and his child barely get enough to eat.  There is a saying Charity begins at home.  As the democrats speak about how low the Republicans are and how awful they are to individuals.  The current sitting president has initiated record setting initiatives to help the world in their various issues as it relates to women, children, and AIDS.

The VP nominee for the Republican party Sarah Palan is a member of an organization Feminists for Life that embodies their concern for women of all social stratas.  While they do not subscribe to the Feminist issue of abortion, they do subscribe to women friendly issues such as equal pay for equal work, are against violence towards women,  and many other issues that draw a common thread between women.

Palin may be a formidable foe for OBama in it that she is an actor and and initiator not just a bag of wind.  I have not failed to notice that every promise that Obama has made he has gone back on.  Obama promised  to allow a roll call vote for Hillary Clinton by state.  This never materialized, instead there was a back alley deal where Hillary Clinton gave all of her delegates to Obama.  I know that this could not have been Hillary Clinton’s idea.  All of the promises that have been made by Obama I am sure that they are “Just Words” and will not be kept.  Trust me Obama is for sell.

Obama Smoking Gun Video: He supports Infanticide- Scroll to the Bottom and Watch the Video

In barack obama, democrats, politicians, politics, presidential primary, presidential race on August 21, 2008 at 12:19 pm

Everyday I grapple with who to vote for in the upcoming Presidential election. As an African American far gone are the concerns that I am voting for someone because they are solely African American.  I know if I vote for someone, its because I think that they can best represent my interests and those of the country.  Personally I seek a reduction in mindless, ill conceived police and authoritarian harassment that I experience in my own community.  As noted in this blog I was falsely accused of taking a pair of glasses I purchased from Vision Works and took into the store to get fixed.  As I sit here now the receipt for these items sit beside me now.  In my heart I honestly believe that I was falsely  accused not because the store worker believed that I had taken the glasses but because she felt she had the power to intimidateme by having the store security block my car in and keep me from leaving the mall.

I say this to say that when I think of voting for a Republican their cries of law and order reek of a totalitarian regime where individuals can at will be stopped at the whim of anyone.  In addition the vast erosion of rights that have occurred under the current Republican  Baby Bush are appalling and have all but nullified the constitution.  It would seem pretty clear that Barack Obama would be the smart choice.

However, there are issues that I have with Obama.  It is being revealed that Obama is turning out to be an almost pathological liar, egomaniac, and backstabber.  Seeing the way the presidential election is playing out is like watching a beautiful woman (eva braun in the movie caligari) seduce a group of men with her flattering words when what really lies inside is an evil heart.    We are used to politicians lying but Obama has taken it to a new level.

As I watched the past presidential candidate conversation, I was especially struck by one lie.  The lie was that Obama did not support partial birth abortion.  I knew that this was a blatant lie as I heard him utter the words.  I had read a letter by Michelle Obama calling partial birth abortion a simple medical procedure between  a woman and her doctor.  The letter is here.  When I spoke with a friend who is an Obama supporter about this letter.  Their response was that Michelle wrote the letter Barack did not.  “Whatever”

In any event the portion of the presidential conversation that totally shocked me was when Barack Obama was asked to say something truthful that he wanted voters to know and he said essentially that there would be no reduction in energy costs and Americans were going to have to learn to conserve energy and basically swallow it.  This struck a sharp discord in my head because the main reason I am voting for anyone is to get some energy relief which John Mccain said that he would provide in some form or fashion and Obama may intend to provide it but still expects us to pay high prices which  I am sure the American people do not want to do.  After hearing this statement, I put Obama in the rich and climbing category and became convinced that the oil industry is going to arrange to get to him a mysterious cash donation.  However still I was not totally for Mccain, what kept me tuned in was the absolutely awesome clothes his wife wore , a shallow reason but it’s the truth.  What repelled me were the republican surrogates and thei9r extreme views.    I don’t care who marries who.  I do believe if anyone has sexual relationships with someone for years and lives in the same house and attends social events with this person they are entitled to legal rights like a spouse.  In the case of the dissolution  of a relationship assets should be equally divided and support should be paid if one person supported the couple.  There were some other issues that disturbed me about Republicans but they are too numerous to name.  Finally since I am prolife the deal breaker with me for John McCain came when I heard he was choosing a pro-abortion running mate.  I thought I may as well choose Obama.

However Obama is rapidly fading as an option as it is being hammered into me what he did as it related towards babies.  A series of videos and articles that I’ve read have convinced me that I want  no part of Obama and while watching the video below, it almost looked like the people who were supporters were evil demons from hell and after viewing the video my first thought was I would be embarassed to see my face or my hand holding an Obama sign.  The video follows:

New York Times Article on Virginia’s ban on Partial Birth Abortion

Here is the link to the New York Times article concerning partial birth abortion.  Apparently it is now OK to dismember a baby in the womb as an abortion procedure in Virginia.

Virginia Strikes Down Partial Birth Abortion Ban

You know I am not a member of the religious right.  I was raised Christian and my most vivid experiences with religion are in the rural Virginia  community of my grandparents at vacation bible school and Sunday School. What I remember most is not bible verses are endless Gospel Songs, but what is most vivid in my mind about this rural Virginia Community and religious experience is that people were just good to each other, they were good to me and they taught me to be kind.  My Grandparents had the type of house that I could consider a lighthouse, anyone in pain or in trouble could count on my grandparents and their children to be the helping hand.  Likewise in Georgia our house has become the house that people “strangers” come to when they are in trouble, when they need food, when they are evicted, when they need money, when they need to use the phone, and one night when a man was mugged on the street next to mine a man said he knocked on over ten doors for help until he reached our house and we opened this door.  As I said at this point in my life I am not particulalry religious, I am not a loyal church goer and may never become one but from my early experiences with goodness I have come to the conclusion that there is a circular nature of right and wrong and my moral code is basically what goes around comes around, if people are mean to you be good to them because it will all comes back to you.   This is why I am against abortion, because literally for me it does not feel right, it feels evil.  In order to ascertain if my feelings are shared by persons of different backgrounds I have had the “abortion” discussion with people of different backgrounds.  I have spoken with muslims and hindus who believethe practice is horrible.  The muslim woman I spoke to was especially vehement that Allah was against abortion.  After speaking with a couple of folks I realized that my abhorrence to abortion was legitimate and probably is anti to most world religions in the world with the exception of  a satanic cult.

Virginia has stroke down the ban on partial birth abortion.  According to this Washington Post blog.   Virginia has deified a Supreme Court decision banning late term abortion,  which upheld the following and stated the following:

Under this law, “Any physician who, in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce, knowingly performs a partial-birth abortion and thereby kills a human fetus shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both.” The law was enacted in 2003, and in 2007 its constitutionality was upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court, in the case of Gonzales v. Carhart.

The federal law defines partial birth abortion as the following:

“An abortion in which the person performing the abortion, deliberately and intentionally vaginally delivers a living fetus until, in the case of a head-first presentation, the entire fetal head is outside the body of the mother, or, in the case of breech presentation, any part of the fetal trunk past the navel is outside the body of the mother, for the purpose of performing an overt act that the person knows will kill the partially delivered living fetus; and performs the overt act, other than completion of delivery, that kills the partially delivered living fetus. (18 U.S. Code 1531)”

The Washington Post has a past article that defines partial birth abortion as the following:

“It involves partly delivering the fetus and then crushing the skull to make removal easier. It is this procedure that Congress made a crime. Opponents say it is a form of infanticide, because the fetus could be viable at the time. It made doctors who perform such surgery subject to up to two years in prison.”

While the states may not prosecute a physician for performing a partial birth abortion.  It is my assumption that if a physician performs this procedure they may not go to state prison but they will go to Federal prison because it is against Federal Law.

The presidential candidate Barack Obama and his wife have raised funds and even sent out an “abortion letter” highlights of the letter discussing a procedure that makes up less than ten percent of overall abortions were that women need to have the right to partial birth abortion because, denying them such a right affirms societies right to pay women less, beat women and give them substandard   all around the world.  You know Catholics are against ll forms of abortion but their good works all around the world are legendary.  Barack Obama in this run for president does not even support Universal Health Care for all women, does not support lowering the gas tax for families and women so they can support themselves and their families.  At this point in the fame it has not become clear what the motives are for supporting partial birth abortion so ardently, is it because it’s 1. a procedure Barack Obama has paid for in the past or 2) A procedure that Michelle Obama hs had in the past and needs to keep legal to assuage her guilt and the 10% of the 90% of individuals (abortion ladies as Anne Coulter calls them) that have participated in the procedure or 3) Is it a political tactic to show how loyal they are to what Anne Coulter calls the Church of Liberalism.  I have no idea why Obama supports these people or this cause but the Virginia defieance of the Supreme Court Decision and Federal Law lets me know that a snowball will live in flames before I ever vote for Barack Obama and if things continue as they are Hillary either.

Finally in my disgust let me tell you what really goes through my mind about liberals.   I think the price of gas is do high because the liberals are plotting to save the environment and want to reduce emissions so they have jacked the price up so   hat only folks with shiny new low emissions cars can drive for leisure.  I watched moveon accuse George Bush of blowing up the world trade center.  However, Barack Obama is open friends with liberals who have admitted to plotting to blowing up buildings.  In essence I believe that the liberals could have engineered this whole horrible economic catastrophe we are going through so they can get elected.

Propoganda and the Media: When College Educated does not mean "Educated"

In Abortion, barack obama, Black Church, Class, College Educated, Democratic Delegates, Democratic Primary, democrats, economy, Education, Hitler, politicians, politics, Poverty, Race, Race and Class, The Economy on May 9, 2008 at 12:28 am

The United States has a stinky little economic problem and one reason is becuase well the quality of the work force is just not up to par. Many people are self concioulsy getting degrees from any entity out there and wearing it like some huge gold icon arround their necks when the fact is that they have not been classically educated to be critical thinkers. Why do I say this? I say this because I have watched the elctorate cycle be manipulated by the media this whole election cycle. The media crafted an Obama voter and said rich people and blacks vote for Obama, educated folks and blacks vote for Obama when the honest truth is that people who vote for Obama appear to be individuals who have not been trained to be critical thinkers and this scares me and if we continue to go down this road the United States economy will be worth one penny.

Why do I say this?

Well I think that it’s become pretty obvious to many that Obama is not loyal to this country unless as Michelle Obama says he becomes elected president and then she and probably she speaks for him they can finally be proud of this country. Well if they don’t win I suppose they will go somewhere in a hole somewhere and plot with the former members of weather underground on how to blow up the next building. Well since he probably will get the nomination becasue according to the media anyone who does not support the views GOD DAMN AMERICA is uneducated, blue collar, drinks beer and is just so tres unchic. I suppose you can compare supporting Obama to purchasing a high class mood ring, a pet rock, or even a rubriks cube, if you do not support Obama according to the media you are definitely not in or maybe just maybe you can not afford to get a fill up at the pumps therefore you should vote for weather underground and reverend wright because if you don’t you are low class, poor, and uneducated.

Not by the color of their Skin but by the Content of their Character

These are some of the most profound words uttered by a man, a great man Martin Luther King Jr. as far as black people are concerned as it relates to Barack Obama they have no concious. If this were the segregated south and blacks were whites. The black people supporting Barack Obama would surely be the ones standing idly by as white people were left lynched hanging from a tree. Over and over they have ignored the character of Obama making their lives and their work sand castles that are easily washed away with the Obama wave. The largest sand castle in this Obama wave most definitely would be the Black Church. Obama not only was a passionate supporter of third term abortion, but according to a nurse who worked to outlaw third term abortion, Obama worked towards preventing the outlawing of the ban against this procedure that involves cracking the skull of a fetus and sucking it out of its mother’s womb, and if it’s still alive when it comes out of the womb it is hit in the heart with a stake to fully kill it. THIS IS WHAT THE BLACK CHURCH OVERWHELMINGLY SUPPORTS; I SUPPOSE THIS CALLS INTO QUESTION IS THE BLACK CHURCH A SOCIAL CLUB OR DOES IT FULLY FOLLOW THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS CHRIST, OR EVEN BELIEVE IN THE COMMANDMENT THOUGH SHALL NOT KILL I suppose if we examine some of the pathology in the black community could we find that based on their overwhelming support of an individual who supported the killng of live fetuses that the black church fails in leading their flock because they are not truly cognizant of what Christianity stands for. A religious leader who has no moral compass can not lead a flock into leading normal productive lives but can only produce a flock that has his or her same qualities. It’s a little like the Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints, the leader of this group only perpetuates his flawed worldview unto his flock and this is what the black church has done with their dogged support of a man who hates America, is for the worst kind of abortion, and is a former if not current drug abuser. The Black church has in it’s support for Obama has shown that they are not better then the leaders of the Catholic church when they refused to excommunicate Hitler, and he still has not been excommunicated. These religious leaders are showing why only the bible says a remnant will go to heaven, why Jesus had to literally reform the Church and take it away from corrupt men.
