Congratulations Barack Obama and The United States For Your Nobel Prize Win

Barack Obama has brought International prestige and acclaim to the United States with the winning of the Nobel Peace prize.  While the prize was shocking to many, if the citizens of  United States would close their eyes and remember why they voted for him they would realize that he deserves and earned the Nobel Peace Prize.  I can not say that I necessarily agree or even know clearly the rationale of the Nobel committee for awarding the Nobel Peace prize to Barack Obama but I can articulate why I think he deserves the prize.

Barack and Michelle  Obama deserve the Nobel Peace Prize for first of all being able to transcend themselves.  In a world that frequently says you can’t and in a country that had never had a President of color The Obama’s said “Yes We Can”.   They said Yes We can and Did.  Barack Obama did not come from a two parent home with Daddy throwing him up to the sky every night,   Barack Obama even mentions that he comes from a home where people may have told him they were scared of black men because he was raised by his caucasian grandmother.    President OBama’s history and his subsequent accomplishments are a beacon of light to every child around the world who experiences controversies and problems in their lives.  The ability of Barack Obama to overcome himself and his environment is a world class accomplishment, Nobel Prize worthy because one of the hardest things for people to do is to overcome themselves.  Many great thinkers have written about this Napoleon Hill, recitations of the words of Jesus and others.

Barack Obama deserves the Nobel Prize by helping to prove to the world that the United States is not full of racists who hate black people and that the notion that an American Dream is possible for all is a reality not a notion for whites only.  In a sociology class I learned about the third generational theory that all European racial groups who come to the United States can meld into the fabric of the United States and eventually become white or plain American, whereas people of color Asians, Blacks, Latinos, were subsequently out of luck and could never really melt because of their race into an American characteristic.  Barack Obama and the United State shattered this myth by voting for him as President by actually implementing the words of Martin Luther King “not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character”.  The various races of the United States gave Barack Obama a mandate.  Barack Obama was not a president installed by force, given to the United States by some International Super Power he was democratically elected by the American people who said that we don’t care about race anymore just someone willing to work for our interests.

As for the significance of Barack Obama post election we the American People seriously hope that he will use the slogan YES WE CAN to solve our problems as well as take the attitude of YES WE CAN to the world and help solve their problems.      As for what has gone wrong with the Presidency up to know, by and large Obama and the Democrats refuse to ignore the voices that did not elect them.  The only way Obama can keep his promises is to ignore the voices of dissension and keep a straight path and fulfill his promise.

The United States of Chicago, Oprah Queen of the World

In Afrian American Twitters, African American Bloggers, African American Blogs, International Relations, Poverty, Race and Class, african american twitters, black twitters, politics on October 1, 2009 at 8:26 am

While the United States faces amazing obstacles that the president inherited from the previous administration, unemployment, foreclosures, bank closures, and social upheavals the president of the United States has demoted himself to the President of Chicago, winging him up is Oprah Queen of the world.  One wonders if the bid for the Olympics is a true desire for the city of Chicago or just a power play to see if Oprah Winfrey and Barack Obama can be crowned King and Queen of World Influence.

While Oprah and Barack seek to be anointed King and Queen of the world ie. First Black President of the United States and Richest Black woman in the world , one wonders why the concept of solving very real problems in the city they call home is one challenge that they seem not to be too interested in solving.  Currently Barack Obama seems to be not too interested in solving Americas problems but getting the Olympics to Chicago, just like he did not seem to be too interested in solving Chicago’s problems but being president of the United  States .

The Quest for the Olympics  seems to be very fake and shallow when there are young men and women beating each other to death on the streets of Chicago.

The quest for the Olympics seems to be a facade when a cold winter is approaching and there are  individuals who may not have heat to heat there homes in Chicago or in Barack Obama’s case the United States.

These are problems that effect all cities not just Chicago but these are problems that Chicago seems not to be interested in taking care of.  To the King and Queen of the World the very real problems of Chicago do not exist for they are essentially saying to the poor of Chicago “LET THEM EAT THE OLYMPICS”

Finally the caveat in the Chicago quest for the Olympics is that they are not that major of a city.  For some of the Olympians this will be there first and only trip to the Olympics.  Honestly now where would you want to be in the summer of 2016 in the mean streets of Chicago or on a Sunny beach in RIO.  Ask the fallen flight of RIO to Paris where they would have rather been.  RIO to PARIS. Straight Shot………..

Roman Polanski Child Rapist

As the world watches and debates over Roman Polansky and his recent arrest over a 30 year old child rape charge, it is becoming pretty obvious that Roman Polanski was part of a clique, it could be a wild clique that drinks smokes pot and has sex with underaged girls with their consent, but it’s not.  It’s becoming pretty obvious that Roman Polanski is part of a clique that emotionally ravages, rapes, and preys on underage children.   This is increasingly looking like a Hollywood clique that ravages women and innocent children.  The recent revelations of Mackenzie Philips just confirms the disgraceful behavior of this Hollywood clique and makes it imperative that Roman Polanski give society their justice.

The reaction of some in the international community and in the film community is rapidly giving credence to the conservative cries that the entertainment industry is filled with libertines and there are some foreigners who don’t share our world view.  The name that is frequently mentioned as being outraged about Roman Polanski being arrested is Woody Allen.

Connecticut Magazine writes the following:
The Mia Farrow-Woody Allen relationship first exploded in January 1992, when Farrow found photos of her adopted daughter (13), Soon-Yi Previn, posing naked in Allen’s New York City apartment. Later that year, in August, Allen was accused of molesting and sexually assaulting his 7-year-old adopted daughter, Dylan, at Farrow’s Bridgewater home.
Initially, the complaint was filed with New York authorities, but they took no action. Paul Williams, a Caseworker of the Year for New York City’s Human Resources Administration, tried to bring the case to Family Court (against the orders of his superiors) and was fired for “unethical conduct.” Seven months later he was reinstated as a supervisor, a position he still holds.

While Woody Allen was not convicted he did marry his very young adopted daughter.  This is scary stuff and these are scary people.

Next the current Prime Minister of France Sarkozy, isn’t he the one who divorced his wife in office and brought his swim suit model mistress into the presidential home.  This is not behavior we want to Model  in the United States.   We respect ourFirst Ladies and sometimes they are the deciding factor in the election of their husbands.  We respect and revere women and children in the United States and to not convice a child rapist is against everything the United States stands for ask the ones in jail.

Francois Mitterand argues that Roman Polanski was a holocaust victim and therefore should walk on the charges on drugging, sodomizing,  and raping a 13 year girl he said he wanted to photograph.  To make the argument that just becasue someone was a holocaust victim is just as strange as letting the nationstate of Israel terrorize the Palestinians .  It is unfortunate the Holocaust happened but it is not an excuse to go on a crime spree.

As for the others I am no aware of the others defending Roman Polanski, my only hope is that it’s not Quentin Terrintino because I absolutely love him and may have to stop watchingif I belive the pro-women movie maker supported the rapist Polanski.

Finally, I think the countries who do support this rapist should be evaluated by the UN for how they treat women and children in their countries.  Rape is a human rights issue.

Sotomayor for Supreme Court Justice Trojans in the Minority Community

In Afrian American Twitters, African American Bloggers, African American Blogs, Black Women Bloggers, african american twitters, black blogger, black bloggers, civil rights, politics on May 30, 2009 at 4:01 pm

There was a time when minority people understood that just because they shared the same race with an individual this did not mean that these people shared the same agenda or in the least they were allowed to criticize or critique these minorities and what they represented and stood for.   This was never so illustrated as in the contradictions between WEB Dubois and Booker T. Washington.  Prior to WEB Dubois’s death he said the following to Ralph Mcgill about Booker T. Washington and Washington’s benefactors:

“I wish you had gone,” I said . “Joel Chandler Harris was a good man, as were his closest associates.”

“No,” he replied, “it was no use. He and they had no question in their minds about the status of the Negro as a separated, lesser citizen. They perhaps were kind men, as you say. They unhesitatingly lived up to a paternalistic role, a sort of noblesse oblige. But that was all. The status slowly had become immutable insofar as the South’s leaders of that time were concerned. Booker T. Washington had helped them rationalize it. I do not think that he meant to do so. But he did. In fact, he put a public stamp of acceptance on it there in your city when he spoke at the Atlanta Exposition…………in that same speech he implicitly abandoned all political and social rights.”

The recent nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to the supreme court and the blank check endorsement of her by  organizations that are for the advancement of minorities is highly troubling.  Sotomoyar has almost publicly avowed in her appeals court decisions that she does not believe that race based discrimination exists for anyone white, black, or green unless maybe you are Hispanic.

The case African Americans should be most aware of is the King vs American Airlines case.  The Kings an African American couple who prepurchased tickets were asked to get off a plane because the plane was full.  There were other non-black individuals on the plane, some who had purchased their tickets on standby and were not asked to leave the plane.    A lower court ruled that this black couple had been discriminated against, upon appeal to Sotomayor the case was overturned and they were directed to file a complaint with a federal agency instead of a lawsuit.   This is clearly a racist attitude towards black people.   In another case a black nurse was fired from a hospital the nurse claimed it was because of race, age and disability.  Sotomayor threw out the race and age claims and allowed the disability claim to precede.  The above cases are an obvious case of a potential supreme court judge who is not for African American individuals.

However Sotomayor is loyal and ethnocentric in her decisions regarding Hispanic plaintiffs.   In a decision involving a sexual discrimination in a case where one Hispanic made lewd remarks to another Hispanic and the woman who was the target of the remarks hit the man who made the remarks resulting in a fight and both individuals being fired Sotomayor prevailed for the plaintiff the woman who threw the first hit.  While the lower courts who ruled against the plaintiff  probably thought that the plaintiff  should have reported him immediately to management instead of hitting him.  Violence in the workplace can be just as harmful as sexual harassment.  The contradiction of telling the black non-violent couple to report their problems to a federal agency and ruling for a violent Latino who initiated a fight at work is clearly a contradiction that should be examined.

In addition , the appointment of Sotomayer by President Obama conflicts with his statements that he was highly disturbed with the disparities in drug sentencing by the government as well as to his commitment to his constitutional law background.  In. U.S. vs Santa  Sotomayor accepted evidence from a search warrant that had been vacated and was seventeen months old.  While some would say that a criminal was convicted and the illegal search should stand this is clearly not what the  founders of the constitution meant when they made the fourth amendment against illegal searches and seizures. I don’t think the writers of the constitution would think that the kings representatives holding an invalid warrant should have the right to knock someones door down.  I don’t have to be a constitutional scholar to figure this one out.

While liberals are rejoicing at the appointment of Sotomayor by Barack Obama, they should be mindful of the fact that Sotmayor is a protege of the First George Bush who appointed  Clarence Thomas and like Clarence Thomas she is Catholic.  Clarence Thomas has been a reliable voice against blacks and the little striving man.  Sotomayor is probably likely to walk in the shoes of Thomas  unless of course if you are Hispanic and Sotomayor may be likely use her Latino wisdom to rule in favor of Latinos; unlike Thomas who has no race loyalty.  President Obama is perfectly aware of the fact that Sotomayor was appointed by a republican and considers it a plus, the other plus he has for her is that she was a tough prosecutor. This flies in the face with Obama’s murmurings that he was concerned about persons of certain races and classes treated unjustly by the Justice System.   Viewing the video below, one wonders what party Obama represents and if he is a trojan let in by those who so wanted to believe that he was the “Black Hope”

One hundred and five years ago WEB Dubois wrote  “The problem of the twentieth century is the color line”  As we are well into the dawn of the twenty-first century the problem of the twenty-first century is still the color line.  It may be a flipped color line but it is the color line and one should always be mindful of King’s words “not the color of a man’s skin but the content of their character”

Playing the Michelle Card Michelle Obama and Black Women

In Afrian American Twitters, African American Bloggers, African American Blogs, Black Women Bloggers, african american twitters, barack obama, black blogger, black bloggers, black twitters, democrats, ethnic twitters, female blogger, politics on May 25, 2009 at 11:02 pm

As we prepare for the announcement of a New Supreme Court Justice the writing is on the wall that though black women have been part of this country since it’s founding there will not be a black female Supreme Court Justice.  The major news outlets refuse to even consider that a black women will sit on the supreme court.   However the big signal that a black women will not be the definite choice for the Supreme Court is the huge cover article that the Obama propoganda machine has negotiated on Michelle Obama with Time magazine, hitting the stands the same week that everyone speculates that Barack Obama will announce a new Supreme Court nominee in essence playing the Michelle card to Black women and those who care for them.

While it is refreshing to have a Black First Lady in the White House its becoming increasingly obvious that she has no or does not care to  have any sway or bedtime influence on her husband as it relates to black women and their position in the Obama administration.  The nonadvocacy of the aspirations of black females in the upper reaches in government have literally been squashed in the Obama administration.  For the first time in sixteen years a black women will not hold a cabinet position in a  presidential administration.

Unofficially from the Obama administration the cabinet position a black woman holds in the Obama administration is first lady.  Never before has a first lady been trotted out and purveyed, what an example to black women, what an accomplishment she got married and managed to not be a welfare queen with ten children.  There is a black first lady which is a wonderful and groundbreaking but I think most people expect it comes with having a black president.

The Michelle card has been played in many ways when it was pretty obvious that Barack Obama had no blood ties with the African American descendantsof western slaves, the connection of Obama to West Africa comparative to being Chinese versus Japanese or vice versa, the Obama supporters shouted out that Michelle was a descendant of West African slaves and his children would therefore carry on that legacy.  African Americans and those who cared for African Americans thought that Michelle Obama was the prescription to the fact that Obama’s descendants were never enslaved and Obama would essentially be stealing the legacy of African American heritage to become president of the United States and to indicate that there was a new Nirvana of racial love in the United States.

What Obama’s administration as indicated by his one black cabinet appointee a position held by this black at the beginning of the Bush II administration is that Obama of interacial heritage and  having gained the right to be president from his white mother’s U.S. citizenship does not identify in his mind, heart, or soul with black people.  Obama is black on the outside and white on the inside and feels no loyalty to blacks.  Blacks for Obama are a means to an end.  This has been a key trait of Obama as politician the strong tendency to bit the hand that feeds him.  This is strongly exemplified in the incident of Obama giving  a now convicted felon contracts to run a housing project in his disctrict  that lacked the very nesscessary ingredient of Heat in icy cold Chicago.  When Obama’s constituents called to complain their calls were never returned.  More on the Rezko deal can be found here.    Obama’s identification with his caucasion side comes out at time with an almost exageratted claim to blackness I have a black wife, I play basketball, I talk slang a self proclaimed wigger is what Obama’s exagerations shout.

In any event the Times article on Michelle Obama at such an oppurtune time can mean only one thing a black women will not be nominated for Supreme Court Justice and if you don’t like it just read the nice Times article on Michelle Obama its so nice to have a black first lady is it not aren’t all of us black women lucky, be grateful for what you have and what you can get righto!!!!!!

The Strange Career of Alien Labor in the South

In politics on May 2, 2009 at 7:33 am

As I attempted to drive into City Hall East for business.  I came to the realization that I would not be going into the building because an impromptu slave market had been created in front of city hall and I was not comfortable walking through a throng of men to get to the other side of the street.  It was a slave market made up of individuals who appeared to be Hispanic and I assumed illegal immigrants but maybe not.

I was shocked to see this, in the fair city of Atlanta.  I had seen numerous scenes of cops literally standing over black and white men who dared to stand in the corner of a door.  As a former Atlanta college student who racked up  parking tickets as students do,  I had witnessed numerous vagrants black and white going to jail for standing on the street too long.  I had even witnessed one female judge give the vagrants their rights and tell them they did not have to serve jail time because their rights had been violated.  One vagrant preferred to go to jail, I suppose jail served his needs for food shelter and clothing.  However most individuals do not want to go to jail for loitering or harassed for loitering and it is not tolerated in this fair state unless you are Hispanic.  Atlanta even has signs that say talking to a stranger on the street is illegal.

As I turned to leave the parking lot of the slave mart I saw a black man and said I was shocked at what was going on.  He responded that the immigrants were standing there because there were no jobs.   I went around the corner and spoke to a lady at a stop light and said I was shocked at what I saw, a literal slave market.  She like the black man before her seemed a little peeved that I would ask about the slave mart and said the immigrants are looking for work and the neighborhood was about to go through “big changes” and they were renovating.  I did recall seeing a Sothebys real estate sign when driving up from North Avenue in Atlanta but could not put together a slave mart with a Sothebys sign. I suppose it was an unsaid understanding in this neighborhood of the openly gay, vegan, any thing goes community that American men and women do not deserve a fair wage and illegal aliens did not have any human rights .  Everything prior liberal individuals had fought for was being thrown out the door for a Sothebys commission.  I suppose this is the advent of a new liberalism, an antithesis to the me generation when me literally means the individual and not the overall society in general, me means prosperity not concern for the weaker man.  Yes, this is my generation fortunately my mother was slightly older when she had me so I was raised by a 60’s radical not a disco duck.

As I thought about this and also thought about another slave market that I knew about further North of town, it suddenly dawned on me that while Obama had been comparing himself to Lincoln, ironically Obama is facing the same economic pressures as Lincoln did involving labor,  literal human bodies, that Lincoln did.  I will never forget a passage that I read about in a book called The Strange Career of Jim Crow the passage said something to the effect when slavery was over, white men and black men held hands and jubilantly ran down the hill in joy because they knew that labor was no longer an issue and they both would get paid for their work.  Ten years into the millennium the United States has a labor problem again.  Republicans are not just undercutting the government by sending their jobs over seas but openly gay, vegan, yoga folks are undercutting the government too by refusing to hire individuals who are willing to work for an honest wage or hire a renovation company with skilled artisans. I suppose it could be said if democrats are getting theirs and republicans are getting theirs why should anyone be concerned, it seems like there is some mystical gravy train that is open to anyone who has half of a brain.

As I returned the next day to take pictures of the slave mart which I did not becuase I did not get their until 10:30 and it had thinned out. I went into the whole foods market and had such a great time at their restaurant.  I felt maybe I was being oversensitive to the issue and everything was cool.   While sitting at the whole foods restaurant I did notice that every race was hopping on the cheap immigrant labor bandwagon. I  watched trucks move in and out of the area with ladders, building materials, windows etc.  Again it was accepted that immigrant labor had replaced the labor of men who had not hopped on the capitalist or educational ladder.  There is a new slave class in town and they want it.  How ironic for the south to completely embrace a new form of sharecropping or slavery.  Some things will never change.

While this may seem like a benign issue a way of getting your before someone else does.  The honest truth is that this immigrant labor not bound by minimum wage or other  requirements can only remake the United States into a third world nation.  Either U.S. citizens will join them on the slave mart or they will be in bread lines.  The media is toting that more women than men are working this can partially be blamed on illegal immigrants.  I am not a racist, I am a realist and based on historical factors if one group undercuts another in terms of what their labor is offered for, the other group seeking an honest wage will be eating dirt at the bottom of a bridge.

There is a Sothebys sign on the one side of city hall and a slave mart on the other side, this is a conflict someone is going to pay a Sothebys price for a home but unfortunately just like the mortgage flippers they will not be paying for the quality of labor or for the honesty of labor.  They will live in a house full of negative energy without the knowledge that their home has been renovated by exploited laborers and contributed to honest men enjoying the taste of dirt in their mouths at the bottom of a bridge.

Update: False Imprisonment by Vision Works @ StoneCrest Mall

In politics on April 3, 2009 at 7:14 am

I am suing Vision Works for False Imprisonment as related to the accusation of shoplifting. To reiterate the facts
1. I took my daughters glasses to vision works to be repaired.
2. I left the store and walked directly to my car, pulled my coat off threw it in the back seat, got in the car stuck the key in the ignition, shifted into reverse, by that time an armed security guard knocked on the window and told me he had a video of my shoplifting a pair of glasses at vision works. I knew this was a lie because I had not taken any glasses> I told him I did not take anything. I looked back and was horrified to see that two security trucks had blocked me in.  He insisted that I get out of the car. I was horribly afraid considering I knew that I had not or have never shoplifted anything in my life and I was told it was on video, if there was a lie of this magnitude being told anything could happen. I was extremely fearful. I had been blocked in and prevented from leaving the premises of stone crest mall and told that I had taken something that I clearly knew had not been taken.

I did whatever I could think of to show that i did not have anything because the concept that there was a video of me taking something and I had not taken anything made me afraid for my safety. I knew a couple of cases where people had been beaten and killed in shopping malls by security and I did not want this to be me.

I showed that I did not have their possessions, for this I was charged with disorderly conduct, not only was I charged with disorderly conduct but the very security guards who had made the false accusation and had been shown I did not posses anthing proceeded to take my picture and ban me from the premises for disorderly conduct. If this was not enough after about an hour of sitting around the manager of vision works came out, the police man went into my car without permission and went into my coat pocket where my child’s glasses were and the vision works manager had to admit that I had not stolen glasses.

Even after all of this I was taken to jail for disorderly conduct. The mall security and vision works had the ability to intervene and apologize for the accusation but did not.

The indignities persisted, I went to court and the charges were reduced but when I came months later to get a disposition the charged had been changed back to disorderly conduct. However my attorney had explained the circumstances to the judge and he did not assess a fine and my four hours in jail was the payment and I had been  released on a signature bond because I had no criminal history . If he had not reduced the charges this court would not have agreed to waive payment. The dispositions were criminally changed.

The attorneys who represented me withdrew from the case after from my perception writing interrogatories that did not take into consideration all that had happened to me.

I was supposed to have ten days to appeal the withdrawal of the attorneys from my case. The judge signed off on it after two- three days. What is happening? The United States is about to become fond again of proselytizing about human rights violations perpetrated by others yet at every stage my rights have been trampled on and I am a United States Citizen

It started with lies and false imprisonment by Stonecrest security guards literally terrorizing me on the word of a vision works employee with a lie that they had me on tape taking something. I have an education. I don’t have a criminal record. The lie part ended with the Vision Works employee stating I did not have anything and walking away.

The court system violated my rights by changing the disposition of my case/ The court system is still further violating me without giving me proper time to answer to paperwork regarding my case. Ten days and the judge signed off in three days how horrible. At this point I cringe whenever I hear anyone from the United States talking about the violation of human rights. I live in the United States and I can tell you that I did not have a fair trial because the disposition was changed, my fourth amendment rights against illegal search and seizure were violated because I was told by an armed guard to get out of my car and I had put all of my things in the car. If I would have had anything there could have been no way of proving it by having me walk back into the mall because I had no pocket book just a coat and a wallet that were off of me at the time. This was clearly an illegal search and seizure if I’m in my car.

In any event I will keep you updated,

ei: Did Clinton sabotage a Palestinian reconciliation?.

Clinton has just stated the U.S. wil not recognize the elected Government of Palestine.  This is very disturbing Hammas is not going to back down, what is this saying? The U.S. will support a civil war in Palestine.  This appears to me to be nonproductive saber rattling to me.  The Obama administrations seems to be advocating more of a pro-israeli attititude than the Bush administration evr advocated.  I don’t know maybe they paid her campaign debts off.

Rahm Emmanuel is criticizing Paul Krugman, maybe it’s because Krugman should have been head of Obama’s economic team but Emmanual dropped the ball. Gordon Brown’s trip to the United States to talk about the Global economy just goes to show that the man who won a Nobel Prize for his global economic theories should be in the Obama cabinet; maybe the stock market would not fall every time the obama economic team opened their mouth if Krugman were heading the team.

A top economic man who is not smart enough to do his taxes correctly is troubling.  I am also troubled that some Republicans are coming out with a stamp to stamp under the fed chiefs name on the U.S. currency that says tax cheat.  Why doesn’t the current fed chief just resign and let the Nobel Prize Winner in Global economic Theories take the helm.  This is not a game.

It’s International Sex Workers Day (Better Paid than Not)

In African American Bloggers, African American Blogs, Sex, female bloggers, human rights, politics, relationships on March 3, 2009 at 8:13 pm

I just found out on twitter that today is International Sex Workers Day.     This is a day where sex workers protest for acceptance and the right to make a living without harassment as a sex worker.    I was going to write something long and detailed on this issue basically saying what’s the difference between someone who goes and gives it to a different man every week  and someone who gets paid for it.       In the absence of true love and affection between two people does it really matter whether its a free one night stand or a paid business arrangement.

During the Elliot Spitzer incident last year I blogged and linked to articles related to this issue.    You know I blogged last year that there is a lot of hypocrisy going around.  The Republicans are hollering about babies born outside of marriage yet the daughter of their VP candidate had a baby outside of marriage, yet one of their speakers of the house Newt or whatever his title was has been married to three to four different women that in the case of the last three he got them pregnant before he even married them. He had three shot gun weddings and his shotgun weddings were divorcing one wife and marrying another, in the case of Rudolph Gulliani he married his cousin, his cousin and stayed married to her for sixteen years and had an annulment an annulment and immediately married another woman who he had children by and then while married to her proceeded to move his mistress ,now wife into the government mansion he was living in; and finally Rush Limbaugh, a reformed drug addict of two years is trying to make the claim that he’s the head of the Republican party.  And all these people have to do is hate on innocent women and children.  This is so sad.  Legalize Prostitution, these women are claiming that they can reduce the risk of AIDS.  :)

Here are the Spitzer posts that I wrote last year on prostitution:

Phillip Tracy Smith Stop The Negative Comments to My Blog

In African American Bloggers, African American Blogs, Black Women Bloggers, black blogger, black bloggers, child support, family, female blogger, female bloggers, politics on March 3, 2009 at 1:25 pm

Hello Phillip recently because of you I had to stop open comments to my blog.  This is something that I don’t believe in.  I believe that anybody who wants to comment can. However I had to delete your comments because they were so full of lies.

In addition your wife proceeded to make comments also,  by that time I was holding comments for moderation. Because of this your wife’s work url was revealed.  If you all continue to write negative comments to the blog.  I will have to fax the comments to her employer and request that their employees cease commenting to my blog. Furthermore in your wife’s comment she mentioned that what has to be paid is such a small amount.  If  it’s so small then why don’t you pay it.  It’s not so small now since you’ve missed 4-5 months though.   ” PAY IT”

With that said I am releasing comments to no-moderation because frankly I don’t want any-ones information emailed to me. I want people to be able to make totally anonymous  comments.

This started because Phillip Smith you have not paid child support.  You have not paid child support for the last 4-5 months.  No one seems to care that you have not paid.  Usually by now a court date would have been established like it has been for the last several years but this year someone has dropped the ball and is letting you get away with not paying.

I find it rather strange you are not paying.  Your daughter in San Diego is now 19 and you no longer have to pay child support for her so you should be able to handle this child support payment to your son.

Furthermore Philip Tracy Smith I left a message with your mom that your son had Pnemonia two weeks ago and noone from your family could call and see if he’s OK.  This is pathetic that you can comment to my blog but you can not enquire about your child.  Let’s refer back to what your mom said when I met you she said you were a nice guy and asked me to please be nice to you.  Your family can’t even inquire about a child with their blood, yet they are asking a 23 year old women to take care of a 43 year old man.   This is disgraceful.

Furthermore, when your son was ill when he was little my mother was at a supposed friends house and she said you called this friends house who you had met at your sons christening.  I did not believe her until I saw where your wife worked.  I know this friend has gotten jobs at this place for many of her relatives especially the ones she pulled strings for to get them into  undergrad and then medical school after they flunked out of a famous military academy.  So if you see this mutual friend tellher I said hello becsue I’m pretty sure she pulled the strings to get your wife this job.

U.S. May Boycott U.N. Racism Conference Over Document – UN Accuses Israel of Being Racist

U.S. May Boycott U.N. Racism Conference Over Document – washingtonpost.com.

If the shoe fits wear it.  Israel has behaved terribly towards the Palestinians, kicking them off their land, out of their houses, bombing and killing them and creating an extremely unstable situation for their lives and the lives of their children.  In the least a dialogue should be had by the U.N. exploring the actions of Israel not just towards the Palestinians but towards Lebanon also.

Everyone understands that the Palestinians have shot over a few harmless missiles over the fence with a minimal loss of life but nothing justifies the mass murder of hundreds of people that occured late last year.  I understand that the issues the U.N. wants to discuss are from before this year but surely the actions of Israel last year should be discussed and evaluated also.  Is the administration refusing to attend this conference because of the high net-worth donors in the Jewish community.  Even now some do not understand the Crucifixion of Christ, I personally do not understand the Crucifixion of the Palestinians.  Hopefully the United States will not stand by and advocate the annihilation and genocide of the Palestinians.

Rush Limbaugh Study to Show Yourself Approved

In International Relations, Poverty, Race, Race and Class, The Economy, conservatives, economy, employment, politics, republicans on March 1, 2009 at 11:06 am

You know I was sitting here thinking about Rush Limbaugh and his attitudes towards liberals and their efforts to in the least give lip service to helping American citizens in need and at most provide assistance and relief to United States Citizens of all income groups and I could not help meditating on Limbaughs profound misunderstanding of National and World Affairs.

The first thing that  kept going through my head was the international food crisis that is factually sweeping the world and how smart our government has been to plan for the poor, for the poor are always among us and always will be among us.  I also thought about the base of the Republican party blue collar religious individuals who are in desperate need of the programs and resources that the Democrats are proposing to help them.  Rush’s solution that tax cuts will create jobs and resources for this blue collar base is frankly ludicrous.  What Rush is failing to realize is that the world is increasinglya competitive world, an increasingly capitalist world, and captalists’ are playing on the international playing field not the National Playing field.  The only way to attract capital and capitalists to any Nation or society is to have a skilled workforce .  However according to several sources the quality of the United States Educational system is not competitive, is not even in the top ten of best educations in the world.  According to U-wire:

” The United States is falling when it comes to international education rankings, as recent studies show that other nations in the developed world have more effective education systems. “

” In both studies, Finland, Australia, Belgium, Austria, Hungary, Netherlands and the United Kingdom beat the United States, while the Asian nations of South Korea, Japan and Singapore ranked first through third, respectively. “

Now Rush is so fond of the word capitalism, in an increasingly technological world surely a smart capatalist survival of the fittest corporation is not going to bring his capital to the United States for complex jobs when all sources show that this is not the best place to get smart capital.  He’s going where the best capital is and it’s not the United States.  This is what smart legislators and a president realize.  If your human resources lack the skill to compete world wide, a smart government provides assistance so that they can eventually be able to compete.

Finally I don’t know who Rush represents surely he does not represent blue collar workers becaue there jobs have been gone for a long time and the job losses we are dealing with are the stragglers,  surely Rush is not talking about the middle class becasue they are in need of help too.  Is Rush Limbaugh representing the Very wealthy.  Bill Gates has a foundation that provides food aide to hungry people all around the world and says that he’s grateful to public education and libraries for helping him to reach his full potential.  Surely he’s not talking about Warren Buffet because he says he believes in helping also.  I am a little confused as to who rush is representing.  The only people he seems to be representing so far are the virulent racists who are so prejudice that they will work against their very own interests.

While yesterday Rush Limbaugh bragged on the fact theat he did not need a prompt to speak and could go on and on maybe Rush should do less talking and more studying  the bible and world affairs.  Below is a little bible lesson for Rush.

Lil Wayne (WeezY)

For the first time since maybe the constitution was written we have a President that actually cares about the people.  We have a president that actually wants to make the United States “ideal” of Liberty and Justice for All, real.  While I have wavered and waned on my support of Barack Obama during the election.  Since he has been elected the only behavior I’ve seen from Barack Obama is a caring and concern for the American people that is unprecedented.  The haters coming out of the woodwork have literally stunned me.   I can honestly say that I was unaware of the hate that certain white people felt for blacks until Barack Obama was elected.  I would have never dreamed that so many self proclaimed Republicans and Caucasians associated Blacks with watermelon and fried chicken.

The two incidents that I’ve heard about involved individuals on the government pay roll. This is really a cause for concern that in the first case,  a mayor of a town sent  an email with the following picture to his list:

The Mayor says the President Will Not have an Easter Egg Hunt But A Watermelon Hunt this Easter

The Mayor says the "President" Will Not have an Easter Egg Hunt But A Watermelon Hunt this Easter

stating there will not be an Easter Egg hunt this spring at the White House but a watermelon hunt.   The second incident involved cops who stated on their face book pages that:

“the rose garden will be turned into the watermelon garden” that there will be a “KFC set up right in front of the white house”

The scary part about these comments is that these individuals interact with the public.  We will never know how many people have not been hired, who’ve been falsely accused and arrested, and wronged just because of racists in the woodwork.

Meanwhile the conservative Republicans are meeting and they don’t have a clue why they lost the White House and a large number of congressional seats.  This is really quite funny that they fail to realize that the reason they  lost is because of their lack of concern and ignorance of the needs of ordinary people.  Instead of utilizing a strategy of how can we show that we are concerned and how can we win in 2016.  They are insulting the President of the United States.  They are using the same tactics that caused them to lose the White House by close to double digits. “Pathetic”  The only people who are fooled are the racists. WAKE UP REPUBLICANS!

The Case For Co Ed Prisons One Social Problem is Leading to Another

Prisoners likely to take home AIDS

Curiosity Killed the Cat

I have begun a dreamboard.  Today in order to be really thorough about what I was looking for I decided to look for a picture of a penis to put behind  my dream board.  I was a little taken aback to see that I could not find one that was straight or not with a Caucasian in the first several pages of Google.  Even so the gay black penises outnumbered the black penises with Caucasians.   I just finally gave up with an awful awful bad taste in my mouth.  I had to sit there and wonder if black people could sustain a society where it’s beginning to look like a large group of the male population are openly gay or on the DL.

As my thoughts roared through my mind I understood that a percentage of every population will include people who are just absolutely positively homosexual and can’t help it but the male homosexual population seems to be accelerating in the black community like Moores Law, exponentially.  While personally I subscribe some of it to the lack of male role models, economic hardship and exploitation, children without fathers, the water, the chicken etc.  My personal opinion is that the generations and gnerations of different incarcerated men are one of the main factors contributing to the incredible rise and acceptance  of homosexuality in the black community.

According to the American Sociological Association 20% of black men born between 1965 and 1969 had served prison time before they were the age of thirty compared to three percent of white men .  The rate of incarceration for black males went up significantly based upon what level of education they had.  Thirty percent of black high school graduates had served prison time by their early thirties and close to sixty percent of high school dropouts had served time in the Federal Penitentiary by the time they were thirty.  These numbers are just totally unacceptable and indicate a profound problem in the United States of America as it relates to black Americans and black society. With dropouts in recent years reaching close to fifty percent, it is becoming increasingly obvious that if alternatives and solutions are not implemented to help these men that the United States will face a crisis that it will not be able to handle.

As for homosexuality and the prison population, I personally think that a coed solution needs to be implemented immediately while the risks are obvious by making the prison population coed like pregnancy.  An implementation of a coed prison system could be a choice that prisoners make with the agreement that they take injectable birth control monthly.  Obviously the penal system is not doing a good job in controlling sexual intercourse in the penal system, it does not make sense to keep prisons same sex and cause deviant behavior and increase the spread of AIDS not just in prison but out of prison also.  Something needs to be done if prisoners are creating alternative lifestyles that will make it even more difficult to integrate into society we as citizens have an obligation to intercede.

I will be writing my congressman about this issue and idea.  I think it is a sound one that may reduce the numbers of prisoners returning to prison.

The folowing sources reference or discuss coed prisons

The Big House Goes Coed
Stephen Harrigan
Texas Monthly 03/01/74

Quote

” It’s a sort of penal mock-up of society, designed to reintroduce people who have been trying to survive in penitentiaries into a bigger world where the definition of survival is more elusive, a world that more often than not throws them and their prison-learned coping schemes off, like a body rejecting a transplanted organ. Nearly half the residents at FCI are in prison on drug-related charges. All are at least two years “short,” meaning they have two years or less remaining on their sentences. When they have six months or less to go they’re eligible for furloughs, community programs, family programs and other chaperoned sorties into the outside world.”

Quote

“But violence (judging from both official and resident sources) is sufficiently rare as to be only an occasional individual problem. Homosexual attacks, common in penitentiaries, are rarer still, and according to quite a few of the residents homosexuality itself is almost insignificant.”

Phillip Tracy Smith of Ellenwood Georgia Refuses to Pay Child Support again this Year(Fact) Part II

In African American Bloggers, African American Blogs, Black Women Bloggers, black blogger, black bloggers, family, female blogger, female bloggers on February 2, 2009 at 11:08 pm

You know I insist on airing my dirty laundry on this blog as it relates to Philip Tracy Smith. It is not how Philip Tracy Smith of Ellenwood Georgia has treated me it’s how he has treated our son in many ways.

As I stated in a prior post Philip Smith originally of Valejo California  called his mother and asked her to tell me he was a decent person because I did not have much interest in him.  Mrs. Smith told me a 23 year old woman the her son a 43   year old man was a decent person.  What she failed to tell me was that he had a daughter that he was not supporting, I had to find that out while going through his mail, mail he encouraged me to go through because he wanted me to know everything about him.  What she did not tell me was that when Phil was 17 he and his mother took his girlfriend to an abortion clinic and her parents never found out.  This is what he told me when I told him I thought abortion was disgusting.

His mother on his encouragment told me that he was a nice person and asked me to be decent to him and then he nor his family can be decent to my child.  I called and asked if they would relay a message to him that it was very important that he pay child support this Christmas since he has never paid child support in December he always skips November, December, January, and February and then we go to court in March.

Well, when I called his house because I have always been cordial to his family to ask that they tell him to pay his saster Karen said: Don’t bother my mother about this this is between you and Phillip.  Well I had not meant to bother anyone I just wanted a message delivered to my child’s father that he needed to pay child support for Christmas.  I was a little taken aback considering my parents are very generous grandparents and know that Philip Tracy Smith has not paid.  I suppose even though his mother told me that her son was “decent.  She did not care to deliver a message regarding her grandson to her very very decent son.

You know there are some other things that I may wish to say like that he was fond of wearing pink shorts to Piedmont Park and sitting where the homosexuals sit but I won’t say that.

Emotive will allow Computers to Take a Real Live Journey Through your Mind With Their Mind Reading Device

“I Wish I Could Take A Journey Through Your Mind and Find the Emotions You Always Try to Hide” JOE

Several years ago I was informed that their was a mind reading device that could read your thoughts and someone called the thoughts “computer thoughts”.  While I was a believer and believed,  I never thought that the technology would be mainstreamed and assumed that the technology would remain under some strange black project and would never see the light of day.

However a couple of innovative Australians have done what I never thought would happen.  They will be main  streaming a mind reading device that reads the brain waves in  persons  mind and translates them into their thoughts.

Two of the innovators behind bringing this technology to market were pioneers in early text messaging.  They made their first millions by  bringing text messaging technology to the masses.  The other founder of the company is a Nobel prize winning scientist.

The writer from Inc. has tried the technology and  has the following to say about the Mind Reading Device:

I‘m sitting in a darkened room, attempting to move a large block with nothing but my thoughts. I stare at it intently and imagine myself physically tugging on it, trying to flood my mind with a sense of strain and determination. But the block doesn’t budge. I try again, concentrating, concentrating: Move, damn you; I am your master. After a long moment, the block trembles a bit, then slowly skids toward me a few feet before stopping. Encouraged, I mentally bear down until the block resumes its sliding, and this time it keeps going. I’m gripped by the immensity of what I have just accomplished: effecting a change in the world around me without moving a muscle. Well, that’s not entirely true. I may have squinted a bit.

This isn’t a dream; it’s science — and soon, maybe, a big business. OK, the block was only a virtual one on a computer screen, but that’s a nit. The same technology that converted my thoughts into action on the screen someday could be hooked up to a real-life backhoe, robot surgeon, or microwave oven, placing any of those objects at my mental whim. This thought-conversion technology is composed of some extremely sophisticated software and a piece of headgear that looks like a cross between a telephone headset and a skeletal bike helmet. Embedded in the headset are 16 electrodes that press lightly on my scalp, monitoring the electrical signals generated by the 3 pounds of toothpaste-like goo sealed in my skull. The signals are my brain waves, the stuff of thought and emotion. The headset passes the signals to the software, which extracts patterns that can be used to control anything that’s run by electronics.”

Emotive plans to introduce the technology to the gaming community first because of their willingness to adapt new technologies and their openness to beliveing the technology could exist.  The company then hopes to export the technology to as many areas of human interaction that it can.  Some of the other uses the company hopes to export the mind reading technology to is to ipods and mp3 players, allowing your thoughts and feelings to determine what music is played.

Other areas that I can personally think of is answering the question do you really love me.  Will people allow computer technology to do as Joe says “take a journey through their minds and find the emotions they always try to hide.”  This device can answer the unanswered.

Personally while I know this stock will outperform Google I will be investing in the company that provides shielding from this type of technology because I’m sure it can be wireless.

Is there a Moratorium On Collecting Child Support “Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Meets In Atlanta”

In African American Bloggers, Black Women Bloggers, The Economy, black bloggers, democrats, family, female blogger, female bloggers, politics on January 26, 2009 at 7:06 am

The other day a dear friend called me and said I’m coming to Atlanta for my fraternity meeting. We started to talk and I suppose he remembered that my sons father was in the same Fraternity he was in and he said I know he pays child support, he’s a Morehouse Alpha. I had to say no he does not pay child support. No one seems to want to make him pay child support and since Barack Obama has been elected he has not paid child support and probably won’t.

In Georgia we know that if there is a Democrat in office men are not going to support their children. I remember we had a Democratic Governor in Georgia and the child support workers were losing files, could not find a non paying father and were generally nonfeasent, misfeasent, and malfeasent.

In my case if anyone sees Philip Tracy Smith of Ellenwood, Georgia, a non-payer to at least two children one in Texas and one in Atlanta supposedly who owns a staffing agency and writes up mortgages and who’s license should be suspended please tell him to pay child support.

Furthermore if you want to know how I hooked up with him. I told him when we were thinking about dating that he just did not seem to be the sort of person I was interested in because he had a lot of problems. What did he do? He called his mother and had her tell me that he was a good person, he just had problems, but was a decent individual.

In addition I left him for talking about a woman who was just a friend too much. He slept outside of my door all night and asked for forgiveness. Who is he married to know? This woman. He is a certified rat.

Years later he’s not paying child support, though his Frat brother is sure that he is or should be and he’s not.

Finally as the senate looks to confirm Eric Holder as head of the Department of Justice who might also be a member of this fraternity, I’m not sure though my friend insisted on naming a long line of frat folks to me on the phone he did not mention Holder so he’s probably not; in any event all women should be mindful that Holder might be prepared to have the justice department look left while deadbeat dads refuse to pay child support.

Falsely accused of Shoplifting Alert: Protect Yourself

In AIDS, African American Bloggers, African American Blogs, Atlanta, Black Women Bloggers, The Economy, black blogger, black bloggers, politics on January 13, 2009 at 9:45 am

As many of you may be aware of I was falsely accused of shoplifting at  Vision Works at Stonecrest  Mall in Lithonia Georgia  and accused and taken to jail for disorderly conduct instead.  If you want proof you can view what I was taken into custody for at http://drop.io/falseaccusation . In addition I will be uploading other articles related to the subject as time permits.

In any event I had to write this post today because as I’m doing research on the issue I became afraid not just for myself but for everyone who walks into a shopping mall, place of business, or retail establishment.  I am certainly afraid for folks to go to the mall that I went to.  In this harsh economic environment one should ask themselves if they can afford the  loss of reputation and the innuendo that can be garnered from a false and  malicious accusation that can linger with you even if you have not done anything wrong.  One should seriously weigh this issue before entering a retail establishment.  The facts are in this climate shopkeepers can utter any amount of lies about you they choose to.    The facts are also in that you don’t know who’s behind the counter and what their morals and values are.  There are actually immoral people working as shopkeepers, police officers, and security guards who will tell lies just for fun and entertainment or just because they don’t like the way you look.

If you have places where you have shopped for years without incident and others have too.  It  is probably wise to stick to areas like this but if people are whispering about a location and it’s treatment of individuals is questionable, it’s probably wise to stay away from there especially if you have an employer, are young and have a future or just have dreams and aspirations.  Furthermore the emotional toll and stress of being falsely accused and harassed is not worth it.  Finally the parents of Teenagers should keep their children away from establishments that have a history and record of doing bad things.

While loss of reputation is something that most people can live with, the loss of life is something that no one can live with because they are dead.  As I’ve been researching the issue of the falsely accused.  I’ve come across disturbing incidents involving the not guilty and the guilty that have resulted in individuals being beaten to death in the back rooms of stores and malls, people being shot in the parking lot, and many deaths related to individuals being wrongfully and rightfully accused of shoplifting.  I suppose if a person is a shoplifter they should go to the backroom and try to work it out  but if you are minding your own business, have never ever been accused of stealing or shoplifting in your life, have never been convicted of a felony, and only convicted of misdemeanors related to traffic tickets like me you should really hesitate before you go into any back room with anyone or even leave the spot you are in, judging from what I’ve read and what’s been on the news lately in terms of officers shooting people in the back, and just plain killing people without cause.  “DO NOT GO INTO A BACK ROOM IF YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG AND FEEL THAT YOU ARE BEING MALICIOUSLY TARGETED YOU MAY NOT GET OUT OF THE ROOM ALIVE.”

As for honestly what to do I don’t know, in my case I told the security guard I did not want to get out of the car but he insisted.

I am wondering if trying to call an attorney is even possible when falsely accused in a retail establishment.  Isn’t it strange that as citizens of the United States we have rights and can not be detained without cause or proof  but as soon as we step into a retail location evidently by the many cases that I’ve been reading.  Individuals give up their constitutional and Miranda rights when accosted by a Security Guard in a retail establishment.  Illegal search and seizure is against the law but because I was in the parking lot of an establishment the security guard could insist that I get out of the car with a gun attached this hip.

The following are quotes from blogs and other sources discussing the above issues.

The following post is taken from a blog called Civil Rights Watch

Many big-box retail stores have come under fire lately for treating their minority customers in a discriminatory fashion. For instance, Macy’s East was sued by the State of New York for discrimination in the form of racial profiling in its New York stores. On January 14, 2005, Macy’s reached a settlement with the state, agreeing to pay a fine in the amount of $600,000 and to retrain its security forces to avoid racial profiling in the future.

However, next to Dillard’s, Macy’s looks like Jesse Jackson’s Shirts ‘n More. Since 1994, six people have been killed in Dillard’s. Five of them were minorities. The deaths occurred in Houston, San Antonio, Memphis, Arlington (TX), Cleveland and El Paso. None of the victims had weapons. Some were accused of shoplifting; some had the temerity to argue with Dillard’s security officers about unfair treatment and paid with their lives. Two of the victims had, in fact, stolen goods from Dillard’s (one stole a box of sunglasses, the other stole a beard trimmer). Those two people were shot in the parking lot, after having made it out of the store. Though criminal behavior, shoplifting is not a capital crime in the United States and security officers are not empowered to act as judge, jury and executioner. Furthermore, alleged shoplifting does not give the officer-cum-cowboy the right to endanger the lives of all the other people in the mall parking lot as he shoots at his suspect-bad guy.

Dillard’s employs off-duty and retired police officers as its security guards. Because Dillard’s views these officers as independent contractors, the company does not offer them any training or guidelines, they are not monitored and Dillard’s does not conduct any checks into their personal or professional backgrounds. These are the security guards who harass, beat, strip search and kill Dillard’s customers. Dillard’s stands alone as the only major department chain to use off-duty police officers. The company still maintains that using armed off-duty or retired officers for security is the best way to ensure the safety of its shoppers. You be the judge.

The killings that have taken place in Dillard’s stores are too numerous for me to describe in this brief column. However, I would like to elaborate on one of the most spectacular killings, that of Darryl Robinson, of Houston, Texas.

On June 1, 1994, Darryl Robinson went to a Dillard’s in Houston, Texas. Darryl was not suspected of shoplifting. A clerk accused Darryl of demanding $1 million from her and she called in Dillard’s security officers. Other witnesses and family members say Darryl asked for a $50 advance on his Dillard’s credit card. Instead of escorting Darryl out of the store for causing a disturbance, the security officers took him into a back room and beat him. The officers, however, were not finished with Darryl Robinson; after beating him, the officers hog-tied him. The security guards had already handcuffed Darryl’s wrists and his ankles. But that was not restraint enough. The officers bent Darryl in half and linked the wrist and ankle restraints behind his back. He was tied like a hog. Witnesses say an assistant manager was seen riding Darryl like a “bucking bronco” when he was tied up. Darryl died, in the hog-tied position, on a rolling flatbed dolly used to move boxes. There were two possible causes of his death: either Darryl died of a heart attack or of what is called “positional asphyxiation,” meaning he suffocated due to the hog-tying, fear, and the weight of the officers sitting on him.

Minority shoppers at Dillard’s are not always killed, most of the time the complaints come from people who have been harassed and humiliated. The law firm of Chargois & Ernster in Houston represents over 100 plaintiffs across the country who allege they were subjected to discriminatory treatment at Dillard’s stores. For information on the most recent cases, please see this article in HispanicBusiness.com.

Finally, it is apparently as difficult to be an employee of color at Dillard’s as it is to be a shopper. For a class action filed in 1999, Dillard’s reached a $5.6 million settlement on behalf of African-American employees in their Kansas and Missouri stores.

Dillard’s is as dangerous for minorities as Iraq is for, well, everybody. For this, Dillard’s is the reprehensible first recipient of Civil Rights Watch’s first Retail Wil’ Out Award. I urge you to read the full story on the Houston Press about the retail catastrophe that Dillard’s has allowed itself to become.

The blog entry states that two of the killings involved people who actually had shoplifted something.  They state one man stole a box of sunglasses.  This by itself is believable but when you read the following it makes you wonder if items were planted on the individuals once they were dead.

The following is a shoplifitng rendition of a college student who was killed n Nashville and is at rest with the belief that he’s a shoplifter and a thief.  This account is going to be a lot skewed because it’s coming from the police department.  If you read my ticke at http://drop.io/falseaccusation . You will find the officer used words to skew the ticket instead of  just stating the facts, he made statements that can never be proven.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 29 , 2006

The shoplifting suspect shot during a scuffle with a Tennessee State Trooper in the parking lot of Hickory Hollow Mall Thursday night is identified as a 21-year-old Tennessee State University student from Las Vegas, Nevada. Efforts are continuing to locate his next of kin in Nevada. He is in critical condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Trooper Aussie Thaxter, 41, who fired his state-issued gun one time, was treated at Vanderbilt for injuries sustained when he was dragged by the suspect’s car. He was released during the night.

Thaxter was working an off-duty security job at Dillard’s department store in a THP utility uniform when he was notified by an employee of a suspiciously acting man in the men’s department who was carrying several designer shirts and said he would be paying for them in another area of the store. While in Thaxter’s view, the man fled from the store to the parking lot carrying the shirts. Thaxter gave chase and ordered him to stop.

The man got into a Plymouth Breeze sedan that was backed into a handicapped parking space. As the suspect started the motor, Thaxter reached into the car through the open door in an effort to turn off the ignition. He was unsuccessful and the suspect put the car in gear and began to pull away with Thaxter still partly inside. Thaxter was dragged for about 20 yards before he managed to fire a shot. The suspect was hit in the neck and Thaxter fell to the pavement. The Plymouth continued on, entered a bank parking lot and came to rest against the bank building. A Metro officer who was in the mall was told of the commotion and rushed to the bank parking lot. He immediately radioed for an ambulance.

The investigation into the shooting is being headed by the Metro Police Department’s Homicide Unit. The THP’s Criminal Investigation Division, the TBI and an investigator from the District Attorney’s Office are assisting. The full investigative report will be forwarded to District Attorney General Torry Johnson for review when it is complete.

The above incident is about a supposedly guilty shoplifter who did not live to tell the story.  However I was falsely accused of stealing.  I went to jail for disorderly conduct.  I was stripped down, I had to put on a smelly orange jump suit and was being watched every second by an attendant.  Not only did I pull all of my clothes off and put on others.  I was given a drug test, an AIDS test and had to give urine, and  finger printed.  I had to leave my car on the mall grounds.   Furthermore I had to give up my pocket book and everything in it had to be checked into the police locker.  I was stripped of everything. Finally I was released on my signature because I did not have a criminal history what so ever.

I say all of this to say that the circumstances surrounding the dead college student above are eerily similar to mine.  I was approached and accused of shoplifting while in my car, my keys were in the ignition and I was about to leave the premises.   The security guard was at my window what if I would have tried to just leave, though I could not because I was blocked in by a truck.  Would I have been shot and had a box of sunglasses planted in my car since it was a vision care place I went to and forever known as a shoplifter.

The parking lot killings are too similar I am wondering if anyone accused of  shoplifting and shot in a parking lot while in their car is guilty.   It’s too convenient.  In the first  quoted blog entry it’s stated that a man had a box of sunglasses and was shot in the parking lot with a “whole” box of sunglasses.  It’s beginning to look like people target individuals to kill and plant items on them after they reach their cars because one can not plant multiple items on a dead body in the middle of a store but someones car is definitely a good place to plant items.

Oxymoron – Jews Committing Genocide in Palestine

In African American Bloggers, African American Blogs, Black Women Bloggers, Poverty, black blogger, black bloggers, female blogger, female bloggers, politics, the Middle East on January 10, 2009 at 4:05 am

I refuse to recognize the state of Israel.  As I hear of people who have been displaced for sixty years, in extended concentration camps, their homes taken from them and their peace.  I am not recognizing the Jewish state and no matter what happens it will never exist for me.  The area the Jews inhabit will forever be Palestine to me.

The Jews have made an alter to the Holocaust.  The United States acts as if this is a carte blanche to let them do anything they want to whomever they want.  The “Jews” are going to war against the weakest people they can find weakend by their actions.

The Jews say thy will be going house to house to fight the Palestinians.  Yes they are going house to house and killing everything and everybody in sight.  They are first and foremost killing every male in sight.  They are performing the type of genocide written about in the bible.  However instead of killing every baby they may be killing everybody in sight.  Evacuation and safe houses have turned into places where the Jews bomb.  Therefore knocking out 40 to a hundred people at a time.

Little as it’s told this will be the second genocide in the Middle East in the twenty -first century.  The United States committed genocide in Iraq   and I am convinced when they went door to door fighting  they killed a sizable number of individuals.  However at least we were humane enough to protect the innocent.  If the United States sent individuals to a safe house.  It was safe.  The Jews are literally killing everything in sight.

The caveat is no matter how many people the Jews kill it will not make them feel empowered.   It will not erase the holocaust.  The Jews have become the fourth Reich in Palestine.

The land known as Gaza is definitely a concentration camp with gates, no one can voluntarily get out or get in.  The people are stuck.  The people have no weapons. Sure they have used tunnels since the Jews have cut off their supplies but the tunnels are very public and according to a recent NPR broadcast, broadcast before the genocide began, the tunnels were used to get such benign things to the Palestinians as washing machines and food becuase the jews were starving the people.  They could barely get bread let alone serious weapons. I have seen no evidence of weapons.  The bombs that are being shot at the Jews harm no one.   If this is all the Palestinians have a door to door fight is going to turn into a massacre of the Palestinians by Jews.

The one thing that will come out of this is the Jews will no longer be able to wave the  Holocaust in people’s faces.  They will not be able to say to Europe and the United States and Japan why didn’t you help us sooner  eighty years ago because their hands will be filled with the blood of Palestinians therefore nullifying the significance of the holocaust and placing what happened to the Jews in the realm of human nature.  People will say that though the Jews were victims of the holocaust they turned around and committed genocide against the Palestinians, they expelled the Palestinians from their homes and killed them and killed them, therefore I repeat putting the ability to commit genocide in the realm of human nature,in  essence the holocaust now means nothing and does not deserve remembrance because the descendants of the victims committed genocide themselves.

In all of this the one thing I can’t understand is how does Saudi Arabia and Egypt just sit their weakly and allow these things to happen.  They have  weapons and can defend and help the Palestinians and judging by the Jews defiance to the U.N. If a Middle East country interceded in the conflict the world would support them.  I suppose the Palestinians are feeling quite helpless right now.  I suppose they feel that no one cares about them and that their lives are helpless and useless.  They have tried to go about their lives and live but can not find peace and stability.  Someone some country needs to help the Palestinian, the UN needs to send in Peace Keeping forces to help these individuals.  The status quo can not stand.  As Jews sleep soundly in their beds, little children innocent women and men are terrorized by people who took their land.  The decision to wipe Palestine off the map and give their land to the Jews was a BIG mistake.  An International group needs to right this wrong.

Every one is gritting their teeth and waiting for Obama to be sworn in in ten days however the unfortunate fact is the Palestinians may not have ten more days.  The Jews may have killed them all by then.

As for the rest of the Middle East that’s watching and doing nothing.  The blood of the Palestinians will forever rest on the hands of the Middle East  This is worldwide.  The world is watching.  The Middle East is big and bold enough to come over to the United States and kill thousands of people in one swoop but they are too weak to protect their Palestinian brothers and openly go to war with the Jews.  It’s less than ten days until Obama gets in, go to war with the Jews for ten days and when the new President of the United States is sworn in make peace. Some country must help the Palestinians out.  The Middle East must unify to keep their brothers from being victims of genocide.

That Gremlin Soledad Obrien is Attacking Black People Again She must have Just Rafted Over From Cuba (Soledad Subs for Anderson)

In barack obama, democrats, politics, presidential race on November 25, 2008 at 9:09 am

Erykah Badu Sings Southern Gurl – Every Black Girl Has A Vote and Every Black Girl Deserves to Be Respected Despite what CNN and Newsweek says

I have learned something about Anderson Cooper, whenever the producers of his show decide to air something controversial or distasteful that he does not want to be associated with he manages to not be on his own show Anderson Cooper 360 and hands the dirt bag to Soledad Obrien who as far as black people go will say anything distasteful, stereotypical or just plain out rotten about black people that she thinks will make her career.  Well the last Anderson Cooper showed Soledad at her best in stereotyping Black Women. I also had to wonder as I watched the piece if Soledad had just swam across from Cuba, as she seemed totally unaware of the strides that black women have made outside of being someones wife.   I had to wonder if Soledad had ever heard of Dr. Condeleeza Rice, on leave from Provost of Stanford University and current Secretary of State.  The world has, but alas poor soledad must be suffering a  language barrier.  I am still wondering why she hasn’t done a piece on Hispanics yet, I think Latin America is having a really rotten drug war that’s resulting in a loss of lives.  I would be interested in seeing this issue covered.  I am concerned that the drug war may come over the border.

In any event, last night the gremlin resembling Soledad Obrien did a piece on black women and how Michelle Obama will elevate black women and how they the world sees black women and how they see themselves.  As a women maybe ten years younger or more  than Soledad Obrien, I had to think that her piece was hackneyed and not very current. As usual Soledad Obrien’s information was totally biased and badly researched.  The miltimedia headlights included “Medea” and some other man who dresses as a woman in the piece, big fat women rolling around the screen, and children hollering.  Evidently the producer of the piece is not aware that Medea is a man. The producer is also not aware that Tyler Perry tries to highlight Medea’s positive qualities and Medea is a satire on African Americans. It’s not a stereotype but almost a look at the past and maybe while some of us may not be like that “anymore” or have ever been like that, we may need to be like this in some ways is Tyler Perry’s message is.   If anyone is familiar with the literature of Lindon Hills by Gloria Naylor who writes fiction on black class and status issues, they will notice the thread of Linden Hills a book by Naylor in Perry’s Work.  Naylor essentially says in Linden hills by having the rich people live at the bottom of the hill and the poor at the top the higher they (Striving blacks) climb, the further they fall in terms of morals, family life, relation to God etc.   I think Tyler Perry tries to draw the same parallel. Unless you have an extremely low IQ I don’t think that Perry expects viewers of his movies to think that his movies are real life and MEdea is a real woman.

Soledad had one Newsweek pundit saying society stereotypes black women as street walkers and drug addicts.  The show also gave statistics on black women and obesity.  She also conveniently mentioned blacks and skin color and how Michelle Obama’s dark skin would raise the esteem of dark skin people.   She mentioned Beyonce and Hallie Berry as sex symbols and said we had no dark skin sex symbols.  I think Angela Basset, Janet Jackson, Alliyah, Erykah Badu and Rihanna qualify for me as women who are brown or do not have traditional European features. I think girlfriends, produced by Kelsey Grammar who was a McCain supporter presents a multi colored cast of sexy African American women.  Finally Soledad did an interview with Faye Waddeldon and said that Michelle Obama elevates the possibility of what black women can do. Personally while having a law degree and a job is commendable, as a woman I respect women who go to the top of their professions not who just perform the act of acquiring , for Barack or Michelle Obama even a brief before the Supreme Court would have earned a tremendous amount of respect from me.  As for Faye Waddledon I remember Faye Waddledon from when I was ten years old, Pre-Cosby.   The world has changed a lot in those years.  Has she done any new research in twenty years she’s still saying the same thing she said twenty years ago.     HUH”"”"”"”"”"”" I suppose Condoleeza Rice was not the first female National Security adviser and the first Black Female Secretary of State.   Black Women have already been elevated and the Republican Party did it.  The same people attacking black women are the same people who attacked and are attacking Sarah Palin.  They hate women.  They do not love Michelle Obama, they are attempting to compensate for her lack by attacking black women.  They are attempting to build her up by comparing her with a social problem.  All I want Michelle to do is comb her hair, put on a suit, and keep her children’s hair neatly combed and done at all times.  This is not rocket science, the women who are the targets of CNN’s piece do it well all the time, maybe they would be more suited to the role of First Lady rather than a Harvard trained Attorney.  Michelle’s job is First Lady (WIFE)  lets just pray she can take care of her ceremonial duties without a hell to Oblivion dress on, let’s hope she knows how to be a good wife and mother if she can do this she would have met the criteria for the job of First Lady.  There is no degree requirement for First Lady!

In the the year 2009 America will be celebrating a ground breaking event, it’s first Black President.  Unfortunately what CNN has failed to realize on a recent report on  Michelle Obama and how she breaks the mold of Black women is that this historic election of a black man in the white house was done step by step and partially shattered by the positive media examples of black women and men in the media.  Personally I believe the presence of a smart articulate black woman such as Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice was critical to Barack  Obama becoming President.  When the United States had no idea what was happening in the Bush Administration Condi, Secretary of State was able to explain to us in a graceful, feminine, kindly way what was going on in the world.  In the Bush administration Condi was our light.

In any event the most ground breaking thing that a black women did this year for me was make a video.  I am a horror buff.  I just love the movie Silent Hill as well as Hostel.    So when I saw the following video by Rihanna since I rarely see black people in a horror genre I was thrilled.

This is ground breaking to me (it says something about please click on a link thanks, I have not clicked on the link and do not know where it leads, as far as this blog is concerned please do not click on anything other than the youtube play icon.):

A Guide to Explaining to Your Child How Obama the Believer in 9th Month abortion, the former Gang Member and Cocaine User Became President

In barack obama, politics, presidential race on November 17, 2008 at 3:54 pm

When my twelve year old first learned that Barack Obama had become president, he was flabbergasted, he asked me, should I go out and take drugs?  Should I advocate Baby Killing and have my future girlfreinds have abortions?  Is this what it’s going to take for me to be successful in life.  Personally I wondered the same thing, it does seem like the drug addicts, abortion ladies, and alcoholics seem to be winning the game of life.  Unfortunately what the economy has shown us is their wins mean a net loss for the United States in terms of quality of goods, innovations, intelligence and creativity.  Lack of integrity, falsity, and immorality are wrecking our economy.

I explained to my child  that just because things or people are popular this does not mean that these things are ordained by God.  After the election I explained to him about Hitler having a mandate also, and what resulted from his mandate was the holocaust.  I further explained to him that just as the news reported that the United States was experiencing economic distress during our election cycle, Germany was experiencing economic hardships and voted in Hitler.  I further explained to him that if it’s a choice of losing your house and voting for a pro-life issue when you would never dream of having an abortion, or voting for a coke sniffer then most people are going to vote for the person on the party ticket they think will help them personally, and the Republicans had not quite convinced the majority of the United States that earns less than $40,000 that they would be there for them, the Republicans got stuck at $250,000 with Joe the Plumber and they seemed to be against the economics of a whopping 90% of the population so Obama won.  This seemed like a good answer at the time.  It satisfied him for two weeks.

Then he had to ask again, how could God let a baby killer be president of the united States.  I have to admit that the term baby killer is not too strong a word when Barack OBama advocates abortion in the ninth month of pregnancy.  My personal oppinion is if the baby is alive then C-section or induced labor is the answer and there is no such thing as aborting a baby who’s in the womb at month 9.  In any event I had to explain to him that the Bible states that only a remnant of individuals will go to Heaven.  This means an insy weensy bit I explained to him.  I further explained to him that this is the weensy bit of people that The Bible and God felt were truly Godly.  I explained to him those people who knowingly voted for Barack Obama knowing his abortion policies probably will not see God.  I explained to him that God also spoke of Churches that were not preaching the word of God and the leaders of these Churches and their flocks probably would not see God either.  The bible discusses False prophets and any leader of a church that calls Obama or the Obama’s Godly will most likely not see the Heaven that the bible speaks about.  My son saw the flock of Ebeneezer Baptist church rejoicing when Barack won the election.  I had to explain to him that this was not a Godly church even if it was the church Martin Luther King Jr. grew up in, Martin Luther King said not by the color of our skin but the content of our character.  Obama has severe character flaws, I told my son that Obama’s mother had been an athiest and what we learn in the first couple of years of life according to some psychologists is who we are, if Obama could carelessly advocate abortion at nine months then this was most likely because of his upbringing.  Finally I said that Obama was the result of an unplanned pregnancy and his mother may have told him many times I wish you were never born, you destroyed my life, as Obama said his daughters lives would be messed up by an unplanned pregnancy.  Obama may have a secret wish to not be in this world despite his successes and may wish that his mother would have aborted him even at nine months.I told him I loved him and that the goal that he should have in life is to develop a personal walk with God.  He should not be influenced by the evil in the world but should try to walk in the footsteps of Jesus.

Update The Obama Acceptance Dress: I can see Why She Bought it

In barack obama, entertainment, fashion, michelle obama on November 15, 2008 at 6:49 am

After reading this link,  I’ve discovered why Michelle Obama chose the Gate From Hell Dress:

Gate of Hell Dress

Gate of Hell Dress

Modifications Matter

Modifications Matter

Judging by the white dress in the first picture that’s leaving the runway in back of the runway model’s version of the Obama dress Narcisso designs for skin and body accenturer.  If you want to wear a Narcisso dress you have to be willing to literally let it all hang out.  Unfortunately Michelle Obama though willing to let her husband be a maverick and run for president was not willing to be a Maverick and wear the dress as designed.  This unwillingness not only made her a fashion horror but terribly compromised the designer.  I think what should be pointed out based on a higher resolution picture (the second picture) is that the dress Michelle Obama is wearing is not the runway models version, she is not wearing the dress as it was intended to be designed.  It’s not even a knock off of the dress, it’s a totally different dress.

First of off the dresss to the right is a little black dress with red accents. In my opinion the intent of the designer was to make the dress accentuate the positive charms of the wearer and not be just a cover up.   When I actually look at the dress, I’m thinking the designer is thinking about a Latino with silky thick luxurious long black hair with a curvaceous figure.  I’m not seeing Vogue I’m seeing playboy.  This is a very difficult dress to pull off as is , let alone modified.

First of all the dress has cleavage, the designer of the dress wants to see cleavage, whatever the flaws of the dress too many people will be busy looking down the wearers dress than concerned  with the design, especially if it’s wrapped around a playboy Latino’s body.

The designer has gone through pains to minimize the red.  The black portions of the bottom of the dress almost meet up with the red and then their are pipings of black that meet a small section of red.  Juxtaposed, Michelle Obama has basically a red dress on.   The black at the bottom of the dress stops way too early and should almost meet the sash at her waist with a tiny amount of red showing.

At the top the designer has a very minimal amount of red ,with black satin at the cleavage, and red and black fabric like a bra where a woman’s breasts should be. Finally the dress should end with straps. Obama has totally annihilated the cleavage and given the dress a strong helping of red with a tiny amount of black collar.  The critics argue that Mrs. Obama has covered up the straps.  There is no way this dress has straps.  It has a collar.

Finally the bottom of the dress is sheer accenting the theme that the dress is accenting the wearers female attributes rather than being just a dress.  In essence legs and cleavage are on display and it’s an invitation, however since Obama was unwilling to go with the spirit of the dress, she’s left with a horrific dress of mostly red and some black.

Links discussing Obama’s Penchant for Abortion and Links Comparing Obama to Hitler

In barack obama, politics on November 13, 2008 at 7:38 pm

I am not going to begin to write any commentary today.  The only thing I can say is I am truly afraid of Obama.  The more I read the more I am disgusted by his stance on abortion.  Add to that plans for a secret police made of citizens and it just smacks of Hitler’s Nazi regime.

If my memory serves me correctly Hitler had an almost pathological fascination with Youth, the youth, what the youth would do, he even went from village, province, and various other places organizing the youth.  The Obama machine has done the same thing.  Hitler also wanted to get rid of the undesirables.  Obama has said “why would a woman want to have a down syndrome baby” and advocates getting rid of babies with defects all the way up to nine months.  Obama has promised to knock down all laws against abortion as his first executive order.  All of the callousness towards little babies, the most innocent of individuals leads me to believe that in Obama’s heart he must have some pretty harsh feeling towards adults he feels are undesirable and might event create some sort of Hitler plan to get rid of adults.

In any event my heart is too heavy to even contemplate what an Obama world looks like right now. I hope the world will be there for us if he turns out to be a Hitler.

Obama Babies

I find it almost strange that people are demanding that Obama be a Hitler.  Some one in the media, maybe TMZ has coined the term Obama baby which has now been added to the Urban Dictionary.  The urban dictionary defines Obama Baby as the following:
“A child conceived after Obama was proclaimed President by way of celebratory sex, or any baby born under Barack Obama’s term(s).”

I suppose that these Obama babies are going to have to meet several characteristics, judging by his crowd 1.”from young mothers” 2. “can not have birth defects” 3. at this point I’m willing to believe that Barack Obama is willing to kill them after they get here. There have been so many pathological actions related to babies this decade, I’m beginning to think that hating babies is endemic to our society.   Scott Peterson, and Casey Anthony are the first to come to mind. I think Casey Anthony the mother of Caylee Anthony fits the characteristics of a typical Obama follower, drug addicted, uncaring and pathological. The following video shows that Obama followers were participating in open sex and doing drugs on the ball room floor.

This is a concept advocated by Obama supporter Usher Raymond; Usher Sings Love in the Club a song about having sex with a person you’ve just met in the middle of a club.  Usher chose to give his 27 year old body to a forty year old woman, with five chidren  married her and had a baby with her. In the mean time he’s advocating through his illicit song love in the club that young women have sex with strangers they’ve just met possibly giving them the HIV virus or having an “Obama Baby” or an “Obama Abortion”.  I have full commentary on the song here: Personally I think people who knowingly have sex unprotected and then turn around and have an abortion are criminals. The Baby Killer President has just what they need abortion up to nine months:

Raising The Bar: Whatever You Do, Do Not Vote For R. Joy Walker Chief Judge of Recorders Court For Dekalb County For Superior Court Judge In Dekalb County!

In Dekalb County, Georgia, Race, Race and Class, The PO PO, The Police, elections, family, political corruption, politics on November 4, 2008 at 2:13 am

If anyone has read this blog in the past they may know that after taking my daughter’s glasses to vision works to be fixed last year after a few months of wear, I left the mall and was very falsely accused of stealing a pair of glasses.  I did not have and never have stolen any glasses.  I protested this at the time I was accused because I was afraid and I think if someone will falsely accuse you of stealing something they will do anything to you.  I was charged with disorderly conduct when I became hysterical because I was falsely accused.

Raising the Bar

There is a new show coming out called raising the bar.  I heard about it yesterday and it’s supposed to expose how justice in the United States has a bloody eye and why young attorneys do not want to continue to practice law.  I know what they mean because I have been through it personally, the injustice, and also being represented by a brilliant young attorney who I often think does not deserve the treatment meted out to her by recorders court in Dekalb County.

In the Court of Dekalb County Recorders Court essentially traffic court, there are many horror stories walking through there.  My mother was fined 600.00 for a cat.  I appeared in court years ago and told the judge I did not have the money to pay my ticket and she told me  I would be put in jail until I paid what amounted to a seventy dollar ticket.   I did not have the money. I explained to the judge.  She immediately sent me to jail.  My family came and paid the ticket within several hours and when I got out I wrote the Department of Justice on the Court.  I learned that later that year, they were no longer sending people to jail for not being able to pay their traffic fines.    These are just two of my and my family’s experiences that I thought were rather extreme in Dekalb County Recorders Court.  Here is a link to several blog entries about experiences in Dekalb County Recorders Court as presided over by R.  Joy Walker.

Average Life tells of hearing one fine on their automated system and being asked to pay another, Comments to this blog go into detail about their terrible treatment too.  One commenter talks about receiving a summons to appear at 8:00 pm.  The commenter also states he was carted off to jail for a ticket that he had already paid.

This blog talks about a ticket that could not be found in the system! You have to scroll to find it.

A Man Blogs His Experience with Dekalb County Recorders Court

Southern In-hospitality is self explanatory

Now that you have a true idea of what’s going on.  I’m going to tell you something so shocking that it will make you pull your hair out.  It will make you say, what is happening in the United States and make you seriously question whether some counties and states are bound by the constitution.  I have written the FBI and the GBI because what you will read here is just all out corruption and judicial misconduct.  I appeared before this court on a disorderly conduct charge.  The Chief Judge of this Court is running for Superior Court Judge we can not allow her to have power over people who may go to jail for years. We must preserve some semblance of justice in our court systems and further more we can not afford the embarrassment if she is investigated and found to be corrupt.  Do Not Vote For this Woman!

In any event this is what I want to tell you.  The last message I left for the attorney that represented me on the charge of disorderly conduct who went before the court and had the charges reduced to creating a disturbance, an ordinance rather than a misdemeanor  went something like this.  I’ve called the court and the court is claiming the charges were not reduced, am I crazy, did I just imagine the charges being reduced.  I know I spoke to the attorney that took your place, (the attorney that represents me now practices in a higher court.)  He told me that the judge had agreed that it was a mistake and would change it.  I went to get a disposition of the case  and the woman at the information desk told me that there were now two dispositions in the system, she did not know which disposition to certify.  I had to wait for the judge to get out of court. I waited and the judge stated the charges were never reduced.  Am I crazy I repeated.  I am quite confused now as I ‘m talking to the answering machine.  For them to treat an attorney this way, my brain is swirling, she might be in on it too, maybe she does not remember either.  I ask one more time because at this point I’m going to call the FBI and the GBI if she calls back and tells me that she remembers what I remember.  She calls back a day later and says yes the charges were reduced and the other attorney did speak with the judge about the reduced charges and she has the documentation.  I am floored OK, I am relieved I am not crazy.  The charges were reduced but the court had me plead guilty to reduced charges and then changed the charges back.  I suddenly realize that I am living in a banana republic.  I realize that in the United States blacks are allowed to oppress other people and not held to any sort of accountability because we were once slaves and segregated, and instead of holding certain blacks accountable they are allowed to do anything they want to do to assuage white guilt.  I should not be living in a banana republic.  I live in the United States.  Yet corruption and unfairness rule in my part and color of the world.  HELP I may as well be In Hussein’s Iraq!

The Murder of American Idol Jennifer Hudson’s Mother and Brother in Chicago Neighborhood Sheds Spotlight On Barack Obama’s Fatal Flaws of Ineffectiveness and Egoism

Obama’s presidential candidacy at a time when the district he represents has a murder rate that surpasses LA and New York, and some high schools have a drop out rate of close to 57%.;  indicate that since Barack Obama has not made a move or been able to solve the ‘basic” problems of his state, he’s not equipped to solve the most challenging macro problems as President.  It indicates that the economic problems that the United States is experiencing will not be solved by Barack Obama.  It indicates that if Obama wins, that he will not be able to or willing to make significant change in the lives of American citizens.

It indicates that Obama is a professional politician whose aims are not to build up a series of policy wins that lead him to believe that he can solve the bigger problems of the nation;  but for Obama the qualifications for being president is that he won his Senatorial race.  It is my opinion that the logical path to follow when running for higher office is to tally up a series of policy wins and state what you’ve done and how that makes you qualified.  For example, Obama should be able to say the following:   “I reduced the dropout rate in Inner city Chicago, the murder rate is down and I am effective”.   He can not say any of this.  He has not solved a hard problem, his answer is to run for higher office.  I suppose his next not move will be to run for Al Gore’s spot.  Oops, he can’t run for Al Gores spot.  Al Gore did not run for his new office he actually observed a problem and brought world wide attention to it without having to run for anything.  As a regular citizen Al Gore created momentous change for a big big problem.  As a State representative and a Senator, Obama has done nothing to significantly change the lives of inner city Americans, or as a Senator suburban and rural Americans either.  He has done nothing.

The obvious question is, Why are you running for President and running on a platform of change if you can’t even make change in your own state.  It’s just ludicrous, and now that we see Obama has hooked up with Colin Powell it is probably highly questionable whether the lives of inner city residents will ever get better.  An obvious observation is that Barack Obama has been a Senator for three years and running for President for two, with the murder of Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother, a national spotlight has been shone on the state of Illinois which shows that instead of being a Senator and trying to solve problems related to his state he decided to take the egotistical and irresponsible move of running for the U.S. Presidency in a time when his city and state needed him the most. Whether he wins or loses it indicates to me that he does not have the judgment to lead and anything that comes out of his mouth are not the “just words” saying as he used when quoting from Lincoln and others but:

Just Words:  as in words uttered without meaning or any intention of carry through, or saying what you want people to hear in order to get them to do something for you.

To me after witnessing such a glaring spotlight on Obama’s Illinois through the murder of Jennifer Hudson’s relatives, not Lincoln’s Illinois, I am convinced that Obama is one of the biggest con-men or best politicians  in history.

You Know What Barack Obama said about Small Town Folk I wonder What He and Colin Powell Talked About

In Race, barack obama, democrats, politicians, politics, presidential race on October 23, 2008 at 6:18 am

As Barack Obama gussies himself up for small town America almost everyday, telling them how he’s the new Messiah to their problems and how much he loves them.  He hopes that they will forget that he said the following about small town America to a sophisticated, rich, liberal, well heeled crowd:

“it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations”

As we all know Colin Powell endorsed Barack Obama this past Sunday.  Having been around conservative blacks and foreign blacks, I wonder what the conversation centered around.  As a native African American who’s ancesters actually particpated in the Civil Rights Movement, who has relatives who still live on the 40 acres and a mule land.  I would like to know what the butt kissing have my son appointed to head of the FCC under the Clinton Administration West Indian Colin Powell and Kenyan American Barack Obama discussed behind closed doors.  Please excuse me for my language but I will take my implied right as an African American to use the following word,  but I bet the conversation was about

American Niggers

Colin Powell reveals much about what the converation was about when he says the following,

” Should the mixed-race Obama win on November 4, “all Americans should be proud, not just African-Americans,” he added”

Some people may take this to mean that oh Powell is just talking about Obama’s American white mother and his Ghanian father, but for me this small statement indicates that there was a discussion, or a thought that neither Colin Powell nor Barack Obama are  descendants of American slaves who had the worst slave expereince of all slaves in  the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade.  The discussion or thought may have been on Colin Powells Side I’m West Indian and I am nothing like those African Americans, and on Barack Obama’s side I don’t have any of that nigger or slave blood in me whatsoever my father was Kenyan, I’m pure African, there are no ties to those African Americans and I’m going to show them too.  We are going to bring about great change in their lazy chicken eating inferier lives.  I don’t know what’s wrong with African American blacks.  Huh Colin Powell says I’m West Indian and I beat those African Americans to Secretary of State.  I just don’t think they have the strength of will or the intelligence to even make it up there first.   The conversation ends with all of the various stereotypes of black people they aren’t hard working, they are stupid, etc, etc, etc,

Colin Powell Endorses Barack Obama

Let’s see how many black people get nominated for black projects if Obama wins.  I predict the most oppressive “regime” ever will be under Barack Hussesin Obama for the powerless, black, Hispanic, Female, and the disenfranchised black and white.  We can just begin by the liberal media’s reaction to the RNC purchasing Sarah Palin clothes.  We used to be the most powerful country in the world and the leader of democracy which the international community looked at as an example.  The Republicans recognized their historical role and made sure their candidate was well dressed in the best clothing the United States had to offer not the mediocre or the worst but the best because the United States is suppossed to be the best no matter what it costs and the liberal media outlet cried out that this was wrong.  The practice of making sure a person is in their ceremonial best was frowned upon and scorned by the press, indicating to me any movement towards pulling people really out of their situations will be frowned upon.  Sure the poor will get food stamps, but programs aimed at giving the poor an equal shot as a banker, making poor women web designers, or sales professionals will just not be the way the democrats will want to go because they thrive on superiority, their mojo comes from the fact that they are better then this guy and that guy.   Obama used to talk about it all the time.  Michelle and I he would say are both Ivys, he said, and wouldn’t it be great if everyone could be one.  Unfortunately,  Michelle needs to go and take some how to pronounce the English language like I’m not from the South Side of Chicago classes. I have known women who were from the Ghettos of  the South Side of Chicago who’s parents still live there in tenements and they have learned to lose their south side accent relatively quickly like immediately, if seven years of Ivy league education can’t help one in the couple of the Obama’s lose their accent, maybe the Ivy’s are not cracked up to be what they are supposed to be.  I sure know Condi did not attend the Ivys, she did however study under the father of a former Secretary of State Madeline Albright and she makes me proud as an African American.

Let’s See the Democrats took Votes in Michigan From Hillary Clinton; The Republicans Purchased Clothing for the VP Nominee Who Cares the Most About Women!

In Race, politics, presidential primary on October 22, 2008 at 8:41 am

You know all of the nonsense attacks against Sarah Palin in the last days of the campaign may backfire.  I am serving the media notice if you continue to attack Sarah Palin and her family in the last days of the election your darling Obama will lose.  I keep changing my mind on who to vote for because of the negative campaigning of the campaigners or their surrogates and the media is the surrogate of Obama.

As for the RNC purchasing Sarah Palin clothing, I say Kudos for the Republicans for recognizing what Palin needed and giving it to her.  Too many times money and clothing are barriers to a woman achieving.  I think the Republicans more so than the democrats have always showed a willingness to see beyond a lack of and work with it.  Case in point Suze Orman, and I ‘m not sure the people she dealt with were Republicans, but she said the following or something to the effect of the following (abridged version); I marched into Merrill Lynch after they had taken my money, and I demanded that they give me a job, the manager at the firm said OK and gave me some money to go and purchase some clothes because he said my clothes were inappropriate.  This is the Republican way.  They are not going to let a lack of keep a valuable team member from being the best she can be. I say Kudos to the Republican Party.

The second issue is Palin’s family traveling on Alaska.  The people of Alaska knew Governer Palin had five children when they elected her.   I love seeing her family together.  It’s so “American”.  I know every time she takes her family with her whenever she represents Alaska as Governor this helps the citizens of Alaska.  Finally most of the people reporting this most not realize that Alaska has a lot of money.  They treat their citizens very well.  I knew someone who came to Nashville to go to college from Alaska.  Alaska paid her full tuition, she also had enough money left over to pay for an apartment and still had extra.  I think the media needs to leave Alaska alone.  They have a good thing going.

Finally I would like to mention that early in the primaries, the Obama’s children were at some sort of coffee shop or coffeehouse in an early state and I saw the camera pan over to one of the Obama’s children and their hair was not combed and sticking straight up in the air.  I thought to myself boy if elected is this what we are going to send overseas.  This is going to get embarrassing, maybe some campaign money should have been used to comb their children’s hair.  I don’t think the world thinks that uncombed hair is self sacrificing, it makes the world wonder if America is too poor to get their leaders children’s hair hair combed. (I only saw this once, and it was flashed on very quickly)  The RNC made sure this never happened to them.  One could argue that we are dealing with different textures of hair but I had to give Cindy Mccain Kudos when she presented her obviously black daughter with her hair “laid”. Most people do not have the mind to know what to do with a “colored” girls hair but Mrs. McCain knew.  She also knew to dress every member of her family well and has maintained very high standards for herself in her appearance.  This is one example that every first lady I’ve ever seen has done, is maintain a decent appearance.  If Michelle Obama can not do this if her husband is elected;  I hope people don’t think that this is how the average black person maintains their appearance.  Michelle has been doing better lately but I think my example for how a high powered black woman maintains herself would be Condi Rice.  I know Condi has handlers but she looks great all of the time so I’m pretty positive she knows how to use a curling iron, and possibly put in her own perm, with Michelle Obama I’m not so sure.  I think she should learn to love wigs.

Mrs. Sarah Palin Who are you Palling around with a. adulturers b. drug adddicts c. the beer queen d. all of the above!

In John McCain, Moral Majority, barack obama, politics, presidential race on October 20, 2008 at 7:52 am

Hey Sarah since we are talking about who people are hanging with,  let’s see who you’re palling around with.

Oh Sarah You’re palling around with adulterers.  Everyone knows that prior to marrying Cindy McCain, John Mccain was married to another woman and he cheated on her terribly until finally he cheated on her with an attractive millionaire and decided to marry this one.  It is also rumored that John Mccain even after he married Cindy did not change his cheating ways, it is widely rumored that he exchanged political favors for sex with a young blonde woman.  I suppose what you don’t know is that it is widely believed that you were “the woman” Mccain chose to be VP because he’s gotten a sexual favor from you or he’s expecting a sexual favor from you.  Enquiring minds want to know have you given up the cat yet?  In case you were unaware that you were palling around with an adulterer you can read more about it here, here - this one states your base does care about adultery and would be less likely to vote for a candidate who had extramarital affairs- let’s see by your logic Obama knew that Ayres did what he did therefore he is what Ayres is let’s pull this further you know that McCain is an adulterer and therefore Sarah Palin is an adulterer and should not get the support of her base.  You can also read more about McCain’s adultery here.

The message is:

Sarah Pallin is Palling Around with Adulterers.

Oh yeah who is is Palin palling around with, Oh she’s palling around with a drug addict. A Drug Addict no less.  Cindy Mccain falsified prescriptions for her own charity and instead of handing them out to the charity she kept the drugs in a suitcase and swallowed them down whenever she felt like it.  You can read about it here or here

Ok what do we have here:

Saring Palin is Palling Around with A Drug Addict! A Drug Addict!

I thought Sarah Palin was a Christian in most protestant churches that I’ve been too.  Drinking is a sin.  Cing McCain is known as the Beer Queen.  I wonder how many calamities have been caused by people drinking  her beer, wife beatings, people killed in drunk driving accidents you get the point.  Needless to say the Republican moral majority don’t care.

Sarah Palin is palling around with the Beer Queen, she’s promoting Sin!

Sarah is palling around with these types of people. Well let me tell you it’s not just a group of people.  This is one couple.  I wonder what her other friends are like.  I don’t want to know.

Tales from the Homefront: Blogging A Rabid Obama supporter’s Words!

In politics on October 19, 2008 at 4:46 pm

Lately I’ve begun to wonder if McCain is running against Obama or running for President of the United States.  It’s Like Barack Obama can’t utter a word without Mc Cain responding.  Even so Mc Cain seems to be running a schizophrenic campaign where on the one hand he says he represents the blue collar workers and on the other hand he say’s he represents people who earn over 250,000 dollars a year.  While everyone deserves to be represented, if you are running an honest campaign and want to win. The big question for Mc Cain is why would you alienate the majority of the electorate by saying their tax cuts will be welfare unless you plan on pulling  a Bush 2000 trick.  Do you think the real Joe the Plumbers are aware that they don’t make 250,000 dollars a year.  “That” Joe the Plumber may make 250,000 , but most plumbers don’t.  The great big question that just popped into my mind is John Mc Cain actually aware that the majority of people make less than 250,000 dollars a year or is he so insulated in his own world that he thinks the majority of people make a quarter of a million dollars a year or more.

As for calling a middle class tax cut welfare.  I’m going to have to take a page out of my mothers book, a rabid fighting hollering Obama supporter and repeat her words.

“Mc Cain and his whole family have always been on welfare, they’ve been on our tax dollars for generations, his father even had servants on our tax dollars.”

” If it wasn’t for his family Mc Cain would have never have been admitted into the Naval Academy.”

“Mc Cain would be nothing without Cindy McCain and her money.”

“She should just run away with Charlie Crisp.”

“McCain came in last in his class at the Naval Academy.  He’s the reason all of those men were captured in the first place.  he’s so stupid”

The point is while Mc Cain is saying Obama is seeking welfare for the middle class.  Those same middle class folks are taking their measure of him.  My mother,  a retired teacher sure is hollering about him  all day and the above is just a brief sampling of what she has to say.

Race, Gender, and Class is creating a Quandary for this Independent Voter

In barack obama, democrats, politics on October 18, 2008 at 8:03 am

I’ve said often on this blog that I’ve made a decision on whom I want to vote for but the truth is I have not and every time I decide definitely in my mind, a constituency of either presidential candidate makes me question if I actually want to cast a ballot for the candidate of choice at the time.

My quandary, not with McCain but with Palin is, Is she a racist or not.  I think at her first campaign stop there was a black man who really wanted to shake her hand and she refused to shake it.  Ever since my brief observation I’ve been wondering is she or isn’t she a racist.  The behavior of her followers, one who even used a racial slur against a cameraman is deeply troubling.  There has been evidence that she’s not a racist, the winner of Miss Alaska a black woman has said that Palin was cool and not a sore loser when she lost to her.

In addition Palin’s husband is partially Eskimo which does not point to a pure racist,  However, her base makes me wonder what she is.

You know as far as I am concerned the one thing Sarah Palin appears to be doing well is being a woman.  I thought it was awesome when Sarah Plain stepped off the airplane toting her baby after her campaign activities.  I thought it was wonderful that she actually went into Wal-Mart.  I think it’s wonderful that she actually married someone that she’s attracted too.  I think it’s wonderful that she has five kids and still manages to play the game.  I really like the image that Sarah Palin portrays.  I admit she did have a very rocky start with her first TV interview, but she pulled it together quickly.  As for Foreign Policy experience Condeleeza Rice, a woman that I deeply admire has said something to the effect that different skill sets can be used to address Public Policy.  The You Tube Video of What Condeleeza Rice thinks of Palin appears below.

In terms of Class and Sex I think Barack Obama does this rather badly.  Obama for me reminds me of a friend or a loved one that I argue with constantly and I always forgive because well because I care for them.  It’s like you see their faults but you love them anyway.  Obama as far as I’m concerned is extremely charismatic and seductive.  I think he knows this and takes advantage of it.   People have dropped out of the race for lesser things then what Obama has been known to actually do. Plagiarism, Biden dropped out of a Presidential race for it. Racism, I do believe that Obama knew that Reverend Wright was a racist.  If he’s that naive he does not need to run for President.  Churches have themes.  The whole Church is themed around evil whitey.  I’m sure of it.  They have speakers coming to the church talking about how the white man oppresses black people.  They have plays about it.  This is the unadulterated truth if anyone wants to  or cares to hear it.  White men who have been accused of a lot less then this type of racism have dropped out of the race, however it may not even be a race issue but a generational issue, Obama’s generation is Prince and Madonna.  They are used to controversy and are not dropping out because of it.  Earlier generations may have been embarrassed a little too easily.

The class issue,  Obama is an unadulterated elitist, small town people cling to their religion and their guns is a terribly elitist thing to say, unfortunately having roots in a small town I agree with this.  Though I often write positively about my parents small town roots, the roots sometimes try to follow you out of the country and wrap their tentacles around you creating a small town atmosphere of innuendo and bad feelings.  On my most recent visit a relative told me you don’t know what they say about you you should change your clothes,  I replied well I know what they say about you, you’re a rabid gossip.  In any event I’m not arguing with Obama’s impression of small town America because I used to be closely associated with one and more and more I’m thinking about getting lost from it.

Finally the sexism issue and Obama weighs heavily on my mind.  The way the the democrats and Barack Obama treated Hillary Clinton is just totally unacceptable behavior.  They literally took votes from Hillary and gave them to Barack Obama as written about here and here. While some may argue that this was not a chauvinist thing to do it was just winning, asking Hillary Clinton to just swallow the incident and campaign was chauvinist to me and though she has been married to the President of the United States and been first lady proving swallowing disappointment and unfairness is profitable, it’s a wooden nickel and makes me wonder if she’s a happy women.  Money and Power don’t mean much without self respect.  To emphasize how money does not matter, let me briefly tell a story when I was in San Francisco I saw this homeless couple, the male of the pair picked up his raggedly dressed companion and placed her in the basket with such love and gentleness that I instantly felt a twinge of envy.  If you can end life being loved and appreciated then power and money does not matter much.  In essence Obama treated Hillary wrong, the fact that he respects his wife and no one else is peculiar to me because respect of your colleagues is supposed to be a given.

Finally after all of this, one may wonder why Obama still ranks as a candidate in my mind.  The honest truth is he looks like a nice guy who will do the right thing.  I don’t believe that he’s a nice guy.  He believes in infanticide.  This will probably be the deal breaker for me.  I honestly don’t feel that he has a platform that he really cares about; for example when I think of Hillary Clinton I think of Health Care.  When I think of Barack Obama, I think he looks like a nice responsible human being.  He looks like he will do the right thing and he’s a democrat and maybe just maybe he will care about making things better.

Finally as far as Obama is concerned his base is so disgustingly smug that I really feel no affinity with them, though I do have the most basic of college degrees, I still like talking to Joe the plumber, and Mary the maid, and Sue the hairdresser.  As a matter of fact I would love to be their friends so I could get free and reduced services from them in exchange for my services as a Web  Architect.  The SNL skit of the McCain Palin supporter made me think of myself.  I am often wrong, I am often judgmental and may mispronounce a word but I don’t think that I should be made fun of.  When I see skits like this I think there will be no consideration of me in an Obama presidency and there probably will not  be because after all he refused to shake my hand.  :)

The question pollsters should be asking is, Have you voted in early voting?  If not why?  If I knew who I was voting for trust me I would participate in early voting to avoid long lines.  I am going to narrow it down before the early voting polls close because I don’t want to wait in long lines.

Musing on Voter Registration Fraud Things That Make Me Go HMM

In barack obama, politics on October 12, 2008 at 8:13 am

All over the news there is a discussion of voter fraud and the community group Acorn.  I have even heard talk that some of the Acorn Registrars had gone to jail for fraud in the past.  When I heard about these accusations I thought as a voter registrar myself that the way they did things you really could not say whether fraud was involved or not.  The registrars that I have seen lately have a remarkably different style of registering voters than the group of fine registrars that I worked with and initiated to register voters.

I went to several festivals this summer where registrars were present but my first impression as I looked at them standing on and in corners in jeans and thin t-shirts is that I would be afraid to give them my information. They really did not look like they were too serious about registering people to vote and I’ve never seen them actually registering voters.   When I heard that 50% of the ballots turned in were false, my first impression was that the people they registered were afraid to say no and gave them fake addresses.  Then I heard that ACORN had registered dead people,  and NFL football players.  I thought my GOD this is terrible.  and they say they wanted to prosecute the registrars or the hourly wage people for dong this.  While they could falsely use the name of football players I seriously doubt that ordinary workers being paid minimum wage would register dead people. This is an organizational problem that goes high up.  Sure poor people should be and deserve to be represented but not fraudulently.  As a voter registrar the biggest problem I noticed while trying to register voters is that former felons thought they could not vote and thought that if they even registered they would go back to jail.

Finally I would like to take the time to pat myself and my team  on the back for registering voters.  During the course of  a weekend Jazz Festival in 2007 my team and I registered 300 voters.  We had several requirements, we had an official county registration meaning that we were not registering voters under an organization but agreed to represent the county in registering voters, all of us went through training by the county and became voter registrars, as apart of being a registrar we had to agree to allow the county to perform background checks.  We all cleared.  This was pretty significant to me because in the age of identity theft, people want to be assured that they are giving their information to people they can trust.

I went to about four trainings because I liked to go through the training with new registrars so we could meet each other and finally at the largest which was about 50 people a mysterious attorney came in and started challenging the right of counties to even train registrars and started talking about court cases giving people the right to just walk on the street and just start registering voters.  This was very disturbing to me.  While I feel that neighbors should help neighbors register each other or friends or relatives.  My personal belief is that if you are in the public registering voters and someone gives you over 25 forms to register voters you should have a background check and a badge.  I think that people who grab a stack of registration forms and solicit peoples personal information with out just the most basic nod from a county authority, or at least have one registrar in the vicinity should be jailed.  Anyone could get twenty-five ballots from the library and take peoples information.  In Georgia the one benefit from being a registrar is that when you register voters, their forms are cleared immediately all  ID requirements have been satisfied.  This was an additional reason why I thought is was so important to be a registrar, the form stated in 2007 if you are new to registering in Georgia you must mail in proof of ID.  I could only imagine a nightmare situation of not being a registrar and having to find a copy machine to run off IDS.  As a registrar I could look at people’s IDS for verification and it was over for them and me.  Mistakes are made, I had one voter registration form where a woman had forgotten to sign her name, I turned it in unsigned because I will never sign someones signature even if I know that they intended to sign.

Finally I would like to say there is no excuse for voter fraud.  I’ve registered voters with large groups of volunteers and we were extremely honest and the thought of fraud never occurred to us because we believed in the system and were trying to make it happen for people who may have forgotten or may not have had the time, or may not have known where to go.  Finally I would like to say that we became registrars by meeting through the Obama website and at events and decided to represent our counties rather than Obama.  We were all honest.  For me the fact that Obama has funneled so much into a fraudulent organization is pretty strange when there are people who actually truthfully need to be registered.

If voter fraud is happening in the United States it will have a huge impact on the winner take all states in which there are 48 of them and two that use proportional representation.  AS little as 100,000 fraudulaent votes could turn the whole presidential election.  Bush won Florida by I believe 180, 000 votes.

Senate Passes Questionable 850 Billion Dollar Bailout Package

In economy, elections, politics, presidential race on October 2, 2008 at 12:06 am

I heard on CNN this evening that the cost of the bailout will be 850 billion dollars.  The only thing I have to say is vote them out.  According to about.com the Senators in the chart at the bottom of the post are up for reelection this year.   Please be proactive and tell your friends in their states not to vote for them and to give money and votes to the opposing campaign I will be donating a small amount to Guy Davis who is running against Saxby Chambliss the senatorial candidate in Georgia, I will follow up my donation with a vote.   With diebold voting machines we still are not sure that our votes are being counted but have faith.

When Webb of Virginia was up for reelection I made sure I called my homefolk in Southern Virginia and told them that Webb’s Democratic opponent participated in outsourcing.  Prior to this call they were on the other Democratic guy’s team.  However after I explained to them that this particular man’s business was outsourcing they changed who they planned to support.  Some of them had even volunteered for the campaign but immediately stopped volunteering after they received more information about the other candidate and passed the word.  The other candidate won Northern Virginia but lost factory based Southern and Eastern Virginia.   I say all of this to say that the  Senate can not be so arrogant with our support and ignore the will of the people. You can make a difference.   Call your family and friends and tell them to vote against this bill by voting the Senators out who voted for it.  There should be no safe seats. What Bush and Paulson did to the markets was terrible, they essentially played the role of a hedge fund operators by saying something about the market and making it true by fearing investors.  Personally the way the stock market is doing business by responding to fear is rather strange.  It seems pretty clear cut that computer modeling ought to be able to tell you how a company is actually doing.  Oh I forgot some companies are cooking the books so that no one really knows whats going on and Paulson plans to bail his friends out who are doing this by giving them money.  CALL YOUR FRIENDS AND HOMEFOLK!  TELL THEM TO EXPRESS THEIR ANGER WITH A VOTE AGAINST THE SENATORS BELOW!

In any event the list of Senators seeking reelection follows below.  I need to verify who voted for the bill and who did not but please, please, please if you know of individuals in the states that these Senators are from please tell them to vote these individuals out of office, even though Biden will probably be Vice President we need him voted out on the ballot.  Here is the list according to about.com As for Obama, is anyone really  believing that he would not have voted for the war, we are watching what he does and not what he says, furthermore does anyone doubt that he was the one who put in the provision to give ACORN money probably in the Rezco manner of give me some later or give me a high priced gift.  I am still trying to support a democrat for the presidency because the Republican tricks as illustrated by the Bushs’ are just totally outrageous, wasn’t the last Bank bailout when Bush Sr was VP or President.  They have robbing the American people down to a science, even now I’m pretty doubtful that eight years of a democratic presidency can help us recover from this Republican Administration.  Welcome to the Banana Republic of the U.S.

(The El Paso Times has a listing of the roll call vote and how each Senator Voted.)

US Senate Seats Up For Re-Election

Campaign 2008

3 October 2007

Summary
One-third of the 100 Senate seats are up for election every two years; on 4 November 2008, voters will select 34 Senators (one special election). These senators will serve a six-year term from 3 January 2009 until 2 January 2015.

The following chart reflects the potential that a seat might change parties in this election cycle; it is based on analysis from several election consultants.

Analysis
The November 2006 election gave Democrats a slim majority — 51-49 — because two Independents caucus with Democrats. In the event of a tie, the Vice President, a Republican, casts the deciding vote.

Going into this election, the Democrats are at an advantage because most of the seats (22) are held by Republicans. Thus, they have fewer seats (12) to defend.

Eight of the 33 are first-term Senators; only one of these is a Democrat. One, Sen. Frank R. Lautenberg (D-NJ) was re-elected in 2002 after retiring in 2000.

There is one special election, in Wyoming (which will elect two Senators in November).

Five senators have announced retirement. Should Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) not be nominated for President, he will run for re-election. Tim Johnson (D-SD) is still recovering from brain surgery.

  • Sen. Wayne Allard (R-CO, announced 1/15/2007)
  • Sen. Larry Craig (R-ID, resignation announced then rescinded)
  • Sen. Pete Domenici (R-NM, announced 10/3/2007)
  • Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-NE, announced 9/10/2007)
  • Sen. John Warner (R-VA, announced 8/31/2007)

The legend for the chart:

  • Competitive: These races have the potential to become competitive.
  • Toss-Up: These are uncertain or too close to call.

The Problem is not the Message; It is the Messenger

In politicians, politics on September 29, 2008 at 3:41 pm

I listened to congress today and many in congress seem to think that the American People do not know what’s going on.  Congress thinks that Americans are not listening to the fact that Small Businesses may not make payroll because their money market accounts are not FDIC insured and their banks may go out of business (take your money out know, it it’s in a non FDIC account, so this does not happen).  They do not know that we understand that parents may not be able to get student loans for their childrens’ educations’ (educational institutions should voluntarily defer payments until after the election is over, or the government should extend some of that obviously available 700 billion dollars to Federal Student Aid, I have yet to see a justifiable reason for giving Bush and Paulson a blank check with a maximum of 700 billion dollars).  In addition we understand that Banks are hesitant to lend to other banks because they are afraid they don’t have the money to pay them back.  Well if the banks don’t have any money they should not be asking for it and should not be trying to sell other banks a fake bill of goods.  A couple knows how much they can pay for a house, a bank knows how much money they can afford to borrow.  Banks should not borrow more then they can afford to pay. In this brief summation I have of the bailout situation and the reasons for giving Bush 700 billion dollars I hope I have shown some understanding of “What’s Going On”.

With that said,  I have to say that inherently I do not have a problem with bailing out Wall Street.  I think after 911 Wall Street needs a lot of breaks but I have a great big objection to giving George Bush and Paulson 700 billion dollars.  If you want to know the depth of my feelings, if you’ve read 1984 and remember the five minute hate scene where the enemy comes on TV and everyone screams at the TV in pure hate and disgust, then you understand how since Bush has asked for the 700 billion dollars how I feel about him.  This last blackmail, this last debasement has just made me as an American feel so debased and taken advantage of.  It’s creating flashbacks, first flash back – hanging chads, a statement my “brother” is Governor of Florida he’s not going to let me lose.  I remember a browser I had “opera” that would automatically reload every several seconds that I looked at the whole night wondering what was going to happen as the numbers were constantly updated, then hanging chads, recounts, a helicopter following a Uhaul full of votes, and finally a Supreme Court Decision, the second flashback 911, i don’t know if Bush is behind 911 but the same black mail that’s happening now to get us to pass the 700 billion dollar bill is the same blackmail that went on to nullify the constitution and get the patriot bill passed, the unifying cry for the passing of the patriot act was never another 911,  the third flashback; Iraq, the UN told George Bush over and over that their were no weapons of mass destruction.  Instead I had to see a bustling Iraqi economy with cars, fruit stands, and people strolling down the streets, reduced to a pile of rubble with little orphan children, this does not even begin to take into consideration the dead American troops. Even with the Iraq war years later after it started we learned that the Bush administration had falsified documents and lied so that we could go into Iraq.  The fourth flashback is a failure to pass a bill that would have given children medical care.  This was horrifying to me that the president of the United States did not pass a bill to help children.  This is why when bush says that he’s concerned about people losing their jobs, making payroll, and the American people I know that he’s lying like hell.  He does not care for the American people he never has.  If he cared for the American people if we are really in crisis he would find a way where he nor his representatives would never touch the money he’s asking for.

Finally I say the problem is not the message.  Months ago while in the grocery store many people using their debit cards were not able to pay for our groceries because because for no reason our cards were declined.    I was at the self checkout and we were saying our cards have been declined.  There was a problem then and their probably is a problem now but please do not give Bush a blank check of 700 billion dollars, he’s only going to steal it.  Please Congress find a way to administrate everything from the government until Bush gets the Hell OUT.  It’s the messenger not the message.

“Got Jokes” I did not support the War! I made a mistake when I supported the War; YEah Right Paulson Gets A Historic 700 Billion Dollar Golden Parachute As he leaves office!

In politics on September 28, 2008 at 4:26 am

And he’s not even an economist; he majored in English in the college of Arts and Sciences very far from macro and micro economics.  Oh yeah he does have an MBA, the President of the United States probably thought this was enough of an “economic” qualification to make him Secretary of the Treasury. it’s not!  They school of economics is in the College of Arts and Sciences and MBA’a are in the school of business.  Take it from a Political Science person the school of business and the school of Arts and Sciences are Worlds away. It’s enough to have made him Secretary of Commerce but definitely not the Treasury.  From my point of view it looks like Pauslon needs to be fired or do what past market failures have done and

JUMP OFF OF A BUILDING

, instead of given 700 billion dollars and Bush needs to be impeached.

With that said according to a late night email and the Houston Chronicle; the democrats and George Bush have reached a historic deal to give 700 Billion Dollars to George BUSH and his ”homey” Paulson.  The timing could not be more perfect close to 90 days before Bush and Paulson will be out of Office.  I suppose the I should not have voted for the war democrats led by I would not have voted for the war Barack Obama,  will have to  follow in the steps of embattled and reelected Louisiana Representative Jefferson who was caught with $90,000 dollars worth of bribery money in his freezer and go somewhere and buy a deep freezer or 10 for the bribes they received in exchange for voting for the 700 billion dollar bailout bill.

Finally why is everything failing because Bush and Paulson are making them fail.  They are lying, suddenly they say everything’s going to fail and it does.  I do not have the knowledge and the resources of the I voted for the war congress but I do have common sense and any man that has created a fight and a war with every oil producing country in the world and his business is oil is a criminal and anyone who gets behind him is naïve or a criminal too.  This has essentially been Obama’s argument but he was the first to jump on the bailout plan, he also managed to give money to his former employer ACORN in the bailout bill.  I suppose anyone who thinks he was not working during this time has been misled.  He did work on the bailout bill, because Acorn is getting at least a billion of the money (my speculation) and I suppose ACORN and other community organizations will be distributing tax payer money to your local congressional persons home freezers’.

Trust Me they Are Destroying the Economy for 700 Billion Dollars, This is making me a believer that 911 was an inside job and congressional memebers were probably in on it too!

In My School of Thought Paulson Gets A Great Big F A three page document in exchange for 700 billion dollars

In The Economy, economy, politics on September 26, 2008 at 4:01 am

Every Time I think of how the country was asked to give 700 billion dollars to the Department of the Treasury from a three page letter I am incredulous.  As a Political Science Major who’s never worked in the field,  with extensive coursework in Public Policy, I know that if I had turned in 3 pages for any Policy Evaluation of an issue or Policy Solution, a three page prescription would have netted me a great big F.  I think the minimum for a decent grade not to mention 700 billion dollars was twenty pages.  As a former debater and a person with extensive experience with crafting public policy.  There is no way possible Paulson could have given any serious thought to why he needed 700 billion dollars with three pages.

As far as debate goes, you can’t even begin to debate adequately with three pages because your competition who has to be familiar with all basic aspects of the issue would tear you apart.  For instance if you were debating the overall aspect of the crashing economy.  You would have to know what industry’s were or would be affected, what would throw the country over the brink into a depression, what solutions were needed to solve the problem, statistics, justifications etc, all buttressed by noted authorities well respected in their field. Finally after the solutions were proposed there would be talk of cost.   The price of entry into debate is being able to SHIT, as one former debater coined it.  T – Topicality - Do you have the ability to even firmly grasp the over riding issues and what’s going on, I -Inherencey – What are the inherent barriers keeping the problem from being solved, ex.  Why is the U.S. facing a depression or in depression, and what is causing the depression?  H -Harm - What will happen if we don’t solve the problem?  this is one Secretary Paulson did get, he skipped immediately to pushing our country over the brink.  Finally in debate your solution is called S-Solvency which includes a policy prescription and solutions to the problem.  You will lose if you say give me 700 billion dollars and that solves the problem.  You have to have step by step solutions. I’m sorry to say but a three page letter for 700 billion dollars would get you laughed at.

AS far as formal training in policy drafting and making the same applies.   One wonders with such a large staff why Paulson would deliver a three page document in exchange for 700 billion dollars.  Don’t the American people pay the salaries of policy wonks at the Department of the Treasury to examine broad issues of the economy, and render proposed policies that will provide the solution.  Heck even a computer simulation predicted Hurricane Katrina at least five years prior to it’s happening.  I’m sure their is a computer that Paulson could have used to get some statistics for why he needed 700 billion dollars.  The problem here is that Paulson did not even try to make his robbing of the citizens look good.  Furthermore, I am even wondering if this is his jurisdiction, yes he’s supposed to keep the economy going, but the Department of Commerce is supposed to be the governmental liaison between Wall Street and Main Street.  You know I have only one thing to say, when I graduated from college I sent out hundred and hundreds of applications to government looking for a position as a policy analyst, no one hired me.  It is a little disappointing to see a three page policy proposal for 700 billion dollars.  I can’t even get a micro loan of $1000.00 without a business plan.

Then again just like the Iraq War.,  this situation is just friends helping friends and I believe what the callers of C-Span believe that once the deal is done the money is going to the Caymans and to Dubai.  This is essentially a buyout of Wall Street and they don’t have to put it back into the U.S. economy.  I have to admit that if someone bought my business for 700 billion dollars and I had a nightmare experience of employees faking documents, clients lying about their worth etc.  There is no “way” I would try to come back and do business with the same types of people again.  I would take my loan money to China, and to places where I know the people would pay me back and the people processing the loans were honest. After getting my share of the 700 billion dollars I would leave the country.  The crisis that we are in is because we hire people who ask for 700 billion dollars because of three pages of documentation and “get it” because they threaten us or because we like them.  This is not just a depression this is a disaster with a massively undereducated population that are not assets to the U.S. anymore.  The one thing that Bush did get sort of right was a focus on education, however the high drop out rate is not good for the economy so he sort of got it wrong too.  I heard a speech that Mc Cain gave in 2005 where he had already figured out that we had a crisis in the United States as indicated by his words, he said something like  the following I went and talked to the President of Ireland and I asked him how he had turned his country around from being a place that people were fleeing from to a place where people were flocking to, McCain went on to say that the president of Ireland said that he committed himself to the education of the populace.  I understand that with our Mobile society it is impossible for us to control how long and how children are educated but we must, the health of our country is at stake.

Finally, I suppose since the Secretary of the Treasury can ask for 700 billion dollars with three pages, I have a right to offer my own suggestions in a couple of paragraphs.  First of all I think something like the WPA should be established to give people jobs in this crisis, second of all I believe that Loans and maybe buyouts should be given to Wall Street to firms that go through an application process with heavy documentation “required”,  since Paulson has demonstrated that he could not be objective with his non bailout of Lehman Brothers and possibly Merrill Lynch (Does anyone want to do business with Lynch after being bought by the thieving bank Bank of America, I had three bank accounts prior to Bank of America with Bank Cards only, I never had an overdraft, I had a bank card with Bank of America also and in the first month of use they had managed to charge me over $150 in overdraft fees for an amount less than $25. and no I did not balance my accounts but I did what I did with every other account i  called for the balance and evidently the balance was wrong because Bank of America fleeced me with overdraft fees just from a bank card, so as far as that buy out goes, ordinary individuals need to stay as far away from the New Merrill Lynch as possible, banks 1000 times smaller than Bank of America could manage to accurately reflect my account balance but BofA could not) In any event Paulson has demonstrated in his refusal to give equal treatment to Lehman brothers and Merrill Lynch while in a credit crisis, that he does not have the fairness and judgment to administer 700 billion dollars.  If I were congress I would ask Banks and Investment institutions to create proposals with justifications and needs asking for the money and  expedite the loan or purchase of securities to a day if necessary.  I will repeat this one more time, I would in no way or no how give a man who asked for 700 billion dollars on three pages any money “never”.

Finally I mentioned McCain, I have to mention Obama too, Obama  has showed great judgment in saying no, they can wait a little while longer, he also showed great judgment in actually consulting experts as in plural on the subject. I think our failure in leadership has come about because our leaders believe that they ought to know everything and do not consult or respect the knowledge of others.  As for Mc Cain he showed great judgment in suspending his campaign to work on this issue.  Evidently, he clued Obama in to the fact that he had to stay too, because CNN and Fox are reporting that Obama has not left Capital Hill.  I think even the suggestion that Mc Cain is trying to grandstand politically is ludicrous.   He has been a Senator for a very long time and several laws have his name on them.  He wants to be involved and objective politicians on both sides wanted him to be Involved. Kudos to both men!

Status Georgia: Economic Crisis “Updated”

In politics on September 25, 2008 at 7:26 pm

The Price of gas in my Georgia Neighborhood is $4.09 a gallon.  We are running out of gas and the Governor is asking citizens not to top off their gas tanks and to make short trips.  The only type of gas we have is unleaded.  I am getting a little scared almost like I’m living in a third world country.    However I’m still feeling like we’re being blackmailed by Bush and he’s trying to get his 700 billion dollar bonus check.

I have just spoken with my neighbor and she told me that the police had to be called last night at Quick Trip because people were trying to get gas before the pumps ran out of gas.  She said they were blocking each other in and getting in front of each other.  She said that her young daughter became afraid because their car was blocked in by other cars and they  could not get out out of the gas station.  She also said something about individuals who can not leave their house because the gas stations near their homes are out of gas.

Sleepers “Wake Up” Wall Street Does not Have the Money! YOU CAN NOT SEND WALL STREET TO JAIL

In politics on September 22, 2008 at 3:36 pm

It’s pretty basic:

You buy a new house for $300,000 30% of the proceeds probably get’s divided between the Realtor and the mortgage person and the builder get’s the other 70%.  HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLO Wall Street does not have the money they counted on the consumers to pay their debts, they did give consumers loans who were not qualified fo get them but this was for a little or a lot of commission but by no means the cost of a house.

There were unscrupulous people who would then buy the house for $500 once it was repossessed fix it up and sell it for $300,000 again and again and again.  The sellers are the people with the money, and they can be anyone from a bank to a builder to an individual to your brother or even your momma.  Wall Street just guaranteed the loans, they were supposed to check someones credit and say they were a good risk.  They failed to do this because someone wanted a commission.  WAKE UP Wall Street absolutely positively does not have the money! Maybe you should look towards borrowers who knowingly lied about income , to get into a house they could not afford. I went to an event and a mortgage person got up and said they don’t check your income just say you had a business and put what you made and your loan will be approved.

Did I hear the Word Draft or am I Over Analyzing McCain?

In politicians, politics, presidential race on September 11, 2008 at 11:47 pm

Every time I hear Mc Cain speak for any length, I hear words coming out of his mouth that I know are quite wrong.  Mc Cains constant talk of war mongering and expanding the Armed Services when hardly anyone is volunteering now gives me pause.  How are you going to expand the armed forces when no one is volunteering, oh I know implement a draft.  I have a son who is twelve I do not want him drafted into the military.  If he chooses to join fine!

For the first six months of Barack Obama’s campaign his message was simply, I will bring the troops back home and I did not vote for the war.  With this message he became the front runner in the Democratic primary and eventually recieved the nomination to be the democratic nominee for president.  Is Mc Cain aware of any of this?  Is Mc Cain aware that a record number of people voted in the democratic primary and will vote in the general election not for him.  Mc Cains platform or lack of one is leading me to believe that the Republicans don’t believe tricks are for kids and have some voting tricks planned.

At this point I can’t even see the most ardent racist voting for more of the same of what we just had.  I don’t think that most people have failed to realize that all of the wars and the trouble that America has been sticking it’s  nose in lately  has been in oil, drug, or both producing regions.  Georgia is an oil producing region and at the time of the conflict Americans were drilling for oil there.  Personally I prescribe to the precept that natural resources ought to belong to the region first and everyone else second.   The United States is most likely involved in the Georgian conflict because they want their natural resources.  Again all of these little wars that have been started since the Bush presidency have been essentially because of oil.  I am extremely disappointed that though Mc Cain is not from Texas he is turning out to be an oil man.  Furthermore his choice of an oil woman as a VP candidate solidifies this view.

I saw a really nice interview done with McCain in 2005.  He seemed like a really nice man with great ideas for education and the enviornment.  Unfortunately these great ideas are sorely missing from his platform.  I am honestly  wondering if he’s senile or what.

As for Sarah Palin, I tuned into the Charles Gibson interview and honestly felt that Charles Gibsons questions were a little harsh and unfair.  I have never heard of a Bush model of Foreign Policy being spoken of before, I have heard the words “the Bush policy of preemptive strikes”.  For Sarah Palin’s part she did ask for clarification and Charles Gibson did not give it.  This was a high tech lynching of Sarah Palin and I can guarantee this if the media continues to go after Palin like this.  Mc Cain will win.  Did I tell you how I ended up voting for Bush the last time I believe, I walked in undecided, definitely not intending to vote for Nader, but all the same I wanted to see his name.  I had heard that the dems had went on a campaign to get his name off of the ballot because they felt he took votes away from them.  When I looked at my ballot they had successfully taken him off of my ballot, I therefore initiated my protest vote by voting for Bush.  If things continue they way they are with Sarah Palin, I might have to vote for Sarah Palin to show my disgust with the way she’s being treated.

Obama and the DNC Pimping the Color “Black” on Radio Ads

In Democratic Primary, barack obama, democrats, politicians, politics, presidential primary, presidential race, republicans on September 9, 2008 at 3:29 am

As has been written about before on this blog, the one thing that blacks of the diaspora meaning for the most part descendants of  West African blacks transplanted by the Trans Atlantic African Slave trade in the 17th and 18th century need to realize is that Barack Obama does not share that Ancestral Legacy with Blacks of the Americas.  Barack Obama is not the descendant of a slave and does not share this heritage and to put it bluntly does not have the right to claim a legacy that is not his. Barack Obama is African and not African America. Barack is East African and not West African.  Barack Obama is about as related to the descendants of West African slaves as are people in China that have black skin, India who have black skin, the Middle East who have black skin, etc.  “Attention” people just because you have black skin and are from Africa this does not mean that you automatically inherit the legacy of African American blood sweat and tears.  This does not mean that your ancestors fought in all of the United States wars, this does not give you the right to claim Crispus Attucks, the black guy who ran through the streets hollering the British are coming the British are coming. In actuality, the truth regarding Africans currently in Africa is that their Ancestors actively participated in the Transatlantic slave trade, many of them went deep into the interior of Africa and all along coastal Africa capturing other Africans to sell them to slave traders.  This is a fact that most native Africans admit to.  The only people who seem not to know this are African Americans which sometimes makes me wonder how long will their stupidity last, their ancestors were dumb enough “including mine” to be captured and placed into slavery and now the madness continues with their pushing to elect a “slave capturing” African as their first African American president.  Oh the Irony…………, Isn’t it Ironic!  If anyone doubts my words about the role of Africans in the Transatlantic slave trade, they may want to view the following movie or read the movie synopsis,

The above reminder was prompted by ads that are being run by the Obama campaign and the DNC which I heard yesterday on the Micheal Baisdan show that appeal to black peoples sense of heritage, that say that “our ancestors fought for this”, elect Barack Obama.  Honestly the person who wrote these ads should review the transatlantic slave trade, should view a movie and relive my ancestors being chased by Obama’s African ancestors to put my ancestors on a brutal slave ship that resulted in my ancestors having to be freed by the Republican Abraham Lincoln, that caused my ancestors to have to fight in the civil rights movement for equal education, equal employment etc. and the right to vote.  While I am not against Obama, these commercials are only pimping black people and playing upon ancestral connections that are not there. As for Micheal Baisdon, I am not surprised that these ads are being run on his show, this is the same man who regularly has strippers and pole dancers on his BET television show and discusses topics such as women should get surgery to tighten up their vaginae.  This is why Baisdon is comfortable running these ads because essentially “literally” he is a pimp himself and has no problems pimping descendants of African Americans.  STOP THE IRONY!!!!! STOP  THE LIES!

Palin as a member of Feminists For Life Leads by example not by words

In politics, presidential race, republicans on August 29, 2008 at 8:20 pm

I think one thing most people can agree on is that democrats try to claim the lead on being concerned about people in general.  They have made this their niche.  The world barely knows that Cheney rose from steel worker and union man to Vice President of the United States.  Meanwhile in the democratic party, unless you are black these Horatio individuals barely arise.  The same thing applies to helping people.  As Obama expounds on the poor and the downtrodden, his brother sits behind shanty curtains looking as if he and his child barely get enough to eat.  There is a saying Charity begins at home.  As the democrats speak about how low the Republicans are and how awful they are to individuals.  The current sitting president has initiated record setting initiatives to help the world in their various issues as it relates to women, children, and AIDS.

The VP nominee for the Republican party Sarah Palan is a member of an organization Feminists for Life that embodies their concern for women of all social stratas.  While they do not subscribe to the Feminist issue of abortion, they do subscribe to women friendly issues such as equal pay for equal work, are against violence towards women,  and many other issues that draw a common thread between women.

Palin may be a formidable foe for OBama in it that she is an actor and and initiator not just a bag of wind.  I have not failed to notice that every promise that Obama has made he has gone back on.  Obama promised  to allow a roll call vote for Hillary Clinton by state.  This never materialized, instead there was a back alley deal where Hillary Clinton gave all of her delegates to Obama.  I know that this could not have been Hillary Clinton’s idea.  All of the promises that have been made by Obama I am sure that they are “Just Words” and will not be kept.  Trust me Obama is for sell.

Sarah Palin Will Walk in The Sun for The “REPUBLICANS”

In politics, presidential race on August 29, 2008 at 11:38 am

In a move that shows John Mc Cain’s respect for his wife, daughter and his mother.  NOT “Just Words”  Mc Cain chooses Sarah Palin as his VP nominee.

To quote Cyndi Lauper in “Girls Just Want to have Fun”,

Somebody takes a beautiful girl and hides her away from the rest of the world, (The dems took Hillary and are hiding her away from the rest of the world)

I want to be the one to walk in the Sun, (Hillary wanted to walk in the Sun,  (her beautiful Orange suit showed this”)

Palin will walk in the Sun for the Good Ol Party! This election year will break barriers!

I Agree! It’s Not All Bad says the California National Organization of Women

In politics on August 23, 2008 at 1:04 pm

I agree with the California  National Organization of Women,

” It’s not all bad, Biden was also responsible for VAWA, the Violence Against Women Act and has a good record on foreign policy, an area in which Obama is perceived as untested. Still, it’s a far cry from a Hillary vice presidency”

After doing a very brief self  education on Joe Biden as a Right to to Life advocate I find Obama’s decision to choose Biden who has always voted against partial birth abortion an apology to those people who are leery of voting for him because of his stance on abortion.  In addition, while Biden let Thomas through he has done a pretty decent job vetting potential candidates for those people with pretty progressive values.  I honestly had hoped it would be Hillary Clinton, despite a blog entry to the contrary.  However the haze has worn off and after being bombarded to 15 minutes of Republican hate on Fox  towards the little guy and those people who would support them.  I am convinced that the Republican party is absolutely wacko and have no intention of making a change for the better for the common man.

I am swallowing my words.  I will vote for Barack Obama, and I will work as hard as I can to get him elected.  I don’t think that I am going to flip flop again.  As for some of the issues I wrote about earlier, I am laying them at the door step of Michelle Obama.  I think women are supposed to be the compassionate sex, and make a move to do things to help relatives in need.  Obama however does have spiritual surrogate wives in the role of Oprah Winfrey and Suzanne Malvauex who I think have and will fill in the gap.

If anyone wants to know what the standard is for an African American first lady, the standard is Coretta Scott King.  I have heard the founder of the National Organization of Negro Women speak extensively about Coretta Scott’s work in the Civil Rights movement and how Coretta planned every meticulous detail as it related to Martin’s Public speeches and activities.  Michelle did pay off the tickets I give her credit for that but but she’s not a Hillary, a Laura, a Jackie, or a Coretta, maybe just maybe she fits the bill for a self absorbed but loving Nancy.

Committed to having a Democrat in Office in 2009!

The VP pick for Barack Obama will be Joe Biden.  I think what stands out most for me about Joe Biden is his abominable treatment of Anita Hill during the confirmation of Clarence Thomas.  I do not remember the words but the whole election cycle I was relieved that he was not making any inroads because all I could remember is the extrememly disrespectful tone and negativity he displayed towards her in tone .  As the mother of a young black girl, I will not be voting for OBAMA this election cycle.  I have not seen anything in his or his wifes character that allows me to.  Last night I saw a segment on CNN where he had a brother living in a shanty town in Kenya, no doors for entry only sheets, the brother spoke perfect English so I know that he could have brought him to America and arranged for him to  have an education.   The brother also looked like a famine victim or AIDS sufferer.   The picture of the close relative of the nominee of a major party of the United States living in a Shanty not even shack was highly disturbing and as an American disturbing,  Maybe John and Cindy McCain can arrange for Barack Obama’s brother to come to the United States give him a job, and let him live in one of their seven houses.  They have proven themselves up for the task by adopting an Asian Orphan and raising her to adulthood, meanwhile Barack Obama has a brother and at least a niece who look like extreme sufferers of malnutrition.

This is a big slap in the face to the WOMEN of America.  It falls in line with Obama’s record on abortion. This is a blatant disregard for women and children to choose Joe Biden.

Michelle Obama to Keynote Convention!!!!!!!!!!!!! Monarchy on America King Kuba and his Queen

In politics on August 12, 2008 at 1:39 am

I was not aware that we had a monarchy in this country.  I thought we voted for one president and he had a wife but she was not a co president or coruler.  Obviously things have changed.  The Jackie Kennedy analogy just ran out Jackie was willing to play in the background, she redecorated the white house.  I suppose Michelle will be the one answering the red phone now.

As for Michelle being a Hillary, Hillary ran for an office , Senator and won.  What a pity all of the talented women who actually hold an office in the democratic party have been knocked out so King Kuba can make his wife a keynote speaker, obviously  the same opportunities extended to Barack Obama when they chose a junior senator or was he a state representative at the time to speak at the convention will not be extended to others.

Oh I suppose it’s not a real monarchy, if  they win they will have to leave in four or eight years, maybe a modified monarchy.

Am I paranoid but is their an unusual Police Presence in my Neighborhood

In politics on August 12, 2008 at 1:25 am

Imagine the following, you are in the process of taking your children to school on the first day, you walk outside of your door and look down the street and see a police car idling several doors down for no apparent reason, maybe a roach brake, but I don’t think so.  You ride around the block to see if they ever leave and don’t leave until you holler out to your neighbor there are roaches on our street and I don’t know why.  The police officer quickly pulls off.  In the mean time as you are heading towards the highway the police roaches have parked at the top of every road leading to each individual subdivision.  Is the president in town, maybe he’s about to speak at the local high school.  I don’t think so.  These are local tax dollars working for you.  In the meantime I do manage to not trip over a roach by the time I get to the highway and there is a three car pile up and one tiny little female police officer working this accident.  Where are the men or the big fat women officers, oh I left them in my neighborhood.  I’ve almost gotten one child to school and as I am about to turn into the school, the police have set up a road block and are asking for ID, I missed this one I’m on the other side, but how sad the first day of school and these officers are making it pretty difficult to have a pleasant day and for parents to get their children to school.   The last time I checked attempting to get an education was not a crime, however for the police force in Dekalb County, Georgia an education is something that citizens should not be doing because well because they are trying to intimidate people out of the process.  Meanwhile way across town in the same county, “not one police officer” STOP THE HARASSMENT PROMOTE CIVIC EDUCATION AMONG THE POOR AND ECONOMICALLY CHALLENGED REGISTER TO VOTE ——-VOTE.  THE STATUS QUO DOES NOT HAVE TO STAY THE SAME IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR CIVIC POWER!!!! IF YOUR RIGHTS CAN NOT BE PROTECTED BY GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS VOTE THEM OUT!!!!!

No Soledad Blacks are not 3/4 of a Human Being: A Black Hispanic attempts to translate the “Black Experience”

In Race, Race and Class, The Economy, politics on July 26, 2008 at 8:50 am
I find it awfully ironic that Soledad Obrien chose to try to report on the black experience in America when she is of Hispanic descent.  The honest truth is that if I had to report on a social problem in America at this moment it would be the problem of illegal immigrants crossing the border taking the jobs of citizens of all races.  In reporting on this I would report on the almost inhumane living conditions  that I have personally witnessed in New Mexico which were worst than all the deepest darkest stereotypical Africa stories that I had ever heard about.  They were certainly worst than any American ghetto that I haveever been too.  Even so daily we are barraged by the crimes that Hispanic immigrants commit not on each other Ie/ black on black crime……..but on the general American population.
Solded and Mother

Solded and Mother

My words sound a little mean don’t they.   Well the little I saw of Black in America and I mean very little that I saw.  I think in the first episode, I happened to see a single father who had been given three months to find another places to stay and after three months he “still” had not found a place to stay and was granted six “more” months to find a place and then the sentiment by the reporting was poor poor poor man.  Frankly my dear………….. I’m from the South you should be able to fill in the blanks.   Furthermore, I think I did stick around for a liittle more with commentary from Micheal Baisdon a black radio personality, oh but wait, isn’t  Micheal the radio personality that also has a show on BET that has urged women to get plastic surgery on their vaginas so that their husbands can feel more pleasure, and has a steady stream of strippers and adult entertainers on his show, where he asks such questions as since you are an adult entertainer can you still feel sexy with the one you love.  Just the presence of this personality let me know that the documentary “Black in America”  is not hard hitting journalism.

The next day I tuned into CNN with the expectations of looking at CNN and their report on the black man and I am blasted with the percentage of black men who are not fathers and I see a cute baby boy with a big fat mother and the commentator says no father in the house.  I immediately turn the TV off.  This is not my reality, neither is it my childrn’s reality.  It took Obama’s playing the race card and CNN’s heavy reporting of it for my eight year old to even realize that their is a race problem in the United States.  Since Obama’s presidential run and CNN’s reporting of race, I wonder if  Asian, Black, and White children will ever play the same again in the IKEA nursery again.  I deliberately have left out Hispanic children  becuase they seem to possess an eerily race conciousness at an early age that I find rather strange.  To emphasize this, I have to recount an incident that happened when my daughter was around three we had gone to the local health center for a check up and my daughter was playing with a little boy and a little hispanic girl no more than three herself walked up to my daughter and pushed her for no reason and grabbed the little boys hand and pulled him away.  I know this could have been the way children play but it had never happened before and I never witnessed it happening again.  Another incident that I witnessed between Black children and Hispanic children would be when taking my daughter to the park.  I very much like the local park, I can drive my car up in front of the picnic tables and from there my daughter can run to the playground which is within seeing and walking distance of my car, so I can sit in the car and read while she has a great time.  I say all of this to say all the children play together, white children play with black children and vice versa.  However the Hispanic  children will not play with black children.   I have to backtrack just a little bit and say the Floridian Hispanics are very much Americanized and from one incident do interact with blacks and seem to have some affection for black people, but the other Hispanics from anywhere else seem to have a very real animus towards blacks I say all of this to say that Soledad’s documentary will not affect the way the majoity of Hispanics feel about blacks but will affect the way blacks and other races interact.

Personally after the documentary aired I self concious and less than as a person.  I walked into the Farmers Market and probably because of me, I thought people were judging me, looking at a statistic, wondering things about me.  HA I really felt this way.

In any event this documentary was ill timed and ill thought out.  There may be more children in the United States without fathers, but there are other populations in the United States who’s rate of abortions are astronomical, how shall we say it or how are their own race of people saying it to each other, “you have aborted a whole nation of people” .  In addition some populations are less fertile so their rate of pregancy is going to be lower.  This accounts for some of  the disparity between children without fathers in the black community versus the majority community.  In addition black people my be experinceing an economic crisis but to my knowledge, the majority of American citizens are expericning an economic crisis in their lives also.  This was empahsized to me by an article in the New York Times several years ago that discussed the fact that white men were not working and white women were taking care of their unemployed husbands.   All of the above is said not to negate the fact that there is a problem in Black America  but to say that documentaries characterizing a whole race are inappropriate and impede the efforts of those who are trying to climb  out of their situations.

I No Longer Sew Like My Ancestors Therefore I Go Naked World Hunger in Context

In politics on June 6, 2008 at 1:39 pm

Several leaders at the UN World Food Summit  asserted that some of the hunger problems in their countries were not due to a lack of food, but a lack of income possessed by their citizens to afford food.  They asserted that this phenomenon is causing not just a hungry world but a violent world fueled on by storefront visions of food by a starving populace unable to afford sustenance.  This situation has been caused and fueled on by free trade and capitalism.  Many rural inhabitants of poorer countries seeing the bright lights and big cities of their urbanized centers have abandoned their countries old practices of self sufficiency through self production of food and other items and rely heavily on the promise of a job at an urban center and the income to purchase what they may have normally made, or grown in their rural homesteads.

According to John Thavis of the Catholic News Service quoting a paper produced by the Vatican:

“long-standing subsidies to agricultural producers in richer countries have artificially kept down the international price of food products and thus discouraged farming in poorer countries. The result has been large-scale abandonment of local agriculture and increasing urbanization. Today, most poor countries are net importers of food, making them highly vulnerable as prices continue to rise.”

According to Brace Stokes of the National Journal :

”The mindless liberalization mentality at the World Bank, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and among my fellow economists misses the fact that food is a biological necessity as well as a commodity,” said Peter Timmer, a visiting professor at Stanford University’s Program on Food Security and the Environment.

The world’s developing countries have increasingly started to depend on a steady flow of food from multinational food producers which is at the whim and the mercy of natural forces.  Several years ago according to Stokes the assumption of the world was that hunger would be stamped out by world trade and production however due to various reasons the opposite has happened and the world now faces a crisis of starvation.

Stokes, furthermore discusses the fact that the rise in food prices does benefit some poor producers and farmers of food, however turns around and penalizes poor people in the same region who are not food producers.

The solution many people advocate is arming poor people with a hoe and seeds and placing the power of food production and self sufficiency back into the hands of the starving people around the world.

This is just one aspect of the world hunger issue which has many causes.

Things that make you say HMM! My response to PAS

In Race, barack obama, democrats, politicians, politics, presidential race on June 5, 2008 at 7:48 am

In response to my Blog Entry “The Original Source for the Michelle Obama Ticking “whitey” Timebomb”; Pas wrote the following:

“Wow, way to take words out of context and twist them to say what ever you want. Look I can do it too! “…I am quite surprised that the media has not mentioned the ‘low class comment’ but this shows their deep seated bias against honest and fair journalism.” As we all of course know, “fair” is another word for white, as in the “fairer race” or fair-skinned. It is clear that this blogger fears that there is a conspiracy to silence all honest white journalists. Who is this person? Twisting people’s words and then calling it fair and honest does not make it fair and honest. Take some serious time and work on your logic”

In response I wrote the following:

Pas, independent organizations have evaluated media coverage of Barack Obama and have determined that the media has given preferential treatment to Barack Obama. Even now the Tony Rezko issue and his associations with Barack OBama have not been fully explored, even now the connections with Weather Underground have not been fully explored. Trust me I would love to see a black president and Barack Obama is very likely to win. However due to Barack Obama’s past and affiliations a terrible message is being sent to our youth that to make it you have to be dirty; IE. a former drug user, former gang member, abusive towards other races, and have a love for people who hate. I have worked with people who loved Obama who were white and they still love him. However they were surprised with the way they were alienated by the other black people who were working to get Obama elected who were quite cold. This is a world that I want no part of. Contrary to what some people would have you believe the radical race problems were initiated by Obama’s associations with Reverend Wright not by people blogging about it. Obama is the racist not I. You know Hitler espoused a public disdain for Jews when he ran for election in Germany, Obama’s associates are espousing a public disdain for whites. Personally I think every white person ought to sit down and think about what electing someone who secretly hates white people means or every person needs to ask themselves what supporting someone who’s willing to hate anyone in that manner means to the United States. Furthermore people like Reverend Wright don’t just hate whites, they hate women, gays, Jews, and a variety of other people also. You may think that Barack Obama just want’s the Presidency but if he gets it something more megalomaniac might hit his mind other than running for President after he has been in the United Senate for three years, who knows his mind might initiate a mass extermination policy against groups and races he does not like. All that I’ve said is worth thinking about.

Chicago Style Back Door Politics Does not Meet the Standard For Me to Vote Democrat this Term

In Democratic Primary, Hillary Clinton, democrats, politics on June 3, 2008 at 11:23 pm

As Barack Obama declares that he has locked up the democratic nomination tonight.  This should be a proud moment for me as an African American.  However it is not.  I suppose I could say it’s not, because I volunteered for him stood and helped navigate rally attendees for hours, checked on the sick and lame, and organized voter registration drives and when I was in  his face he could not shake my hand.  I guess I could say that this is the reason I don’t support him and for that reason I believe that it would be justified.  However I am supposed to be as I keep reminding the readers of this blog so objective that my career aptitude test long ago pointed me to judge.

I have to honestly so that I feel that Barack Obama is staking out illegitimate territory when he asserts that he’s the democratic nominee.  I could have applauded his nomination  had it not been for Michigan, and after seeing the sorry affair of Michigan and how delegates were given out,  I had to rethink the whole situation.  As far as Michigan goes, unlike the Clinton campaign I was prepared for Barack Obama to get undecided, but when the Michigan Democratic party came up with a solution to give Barack Obama the uncounted write in vote  based on an exit poll.   I was floored, clearly this was dirty dealing.  If they could do this they could have seated all of the Florida delegates if they so chose.  What the 18 folks who voted for this deal at the table failed to realize is that this is a real election not as Former President Clinton said months back a “Fairy Tale”.  Once the election goes into swing with John McCain.  There will be no party of 30 that you can beg, complain to, pay off, or appeal to becuase they may be black, and guilt into turning black and white into grey.  If I were any party’s nominee I would lilke to think that I was entering the race  based on fairness and that I had played the game to win honestly and not gone to the party of 30 to  have the nomination handed to me because of various reasons.

It appeares that every honest move that Senator Clinton decided or wanted to make has been shot down in some smoke filled back toom.  Senator Clinton agreed to a revote for Michigan and Florida.  Obama did not because he did not want it.  He refused to agree becuase he thought he would lose.

The party of 30 attempting to control the fate of 303,824,646 thousand people is absolutely ridiculous.   The shocking part is the dirty Michigan proposal was done on National TV.  I can’t imagine what awful things have been done behind closed doors to get people elected.  The sanctimonous democrats are always attacking Republicans and the tactics they use to win, they need to do a self examination becasue they are not stabbing a republican in the back but a fellow democrat.

Asfor Hillary Clinton, what decision will she make?  What will she do? Could she run as an independant without the so called black vote and win?  Lets look at the statistics according to the CIA FactBook 81.7% of  United States Citizen are white; 12.9% are black; and 4,2% are Asian. Hispanics who fall into the above ethnic groups are tallyed based on their etnicity or their color.  It’s pretty obvious that Hillary Clinton could make a run for independant and run, and judging by her supprters reaction when she refused to concede tonight; like Lieberaman she would probably win.  Maybe Hillary did not give up on Bill because she’s the loyal woman that she is and Bill did take her to the top as First lady, and Bill does look out fo rher best interests ultimately.  However Hillary Clinton may have to give the democratic party the boot and strike out on  her own.  Honeslty it won’t be that hard to find at least 18 people smarter than than the 18  of 30 that made the Michigan decision.  However, if Hillary is going to make or even consider an independant run she has to make the decision quickly people are getting really weary.

As for who I will vote for I don’t know I would like to vote for Hillary Clinton.  I know I will not vote for a ticket with Romney.  However as for the economy I comfort myself that I could vote for a Republican by thinking what a mess the economy was unuder Carter and how Reagan swooped in and turned it around ‘VOODOO” I know but the price of gas stabalized and we no longer had to put quarters in the tank when we had to use it.  I was very very young then but I remember it.  So McCain could be a possibility.  As for Obama judging by the way he’s won the nomination by slighting two states I doubt very serioosuly that he’s concerned about lowering gas prices and stabilizing the economy, he’s inner not outer.  He just wants to be president.

Did Romney (FLDS) Drop out of the Republican Race Becuase He Was Promised the Vice Presidency? Romney (FLDS) Member to Fill in For John McCain at Republican Texas Nominating Committee

In politics on June 2, 2008 at 3:27 am
Romney (FLDS) was running a close second to McCain but he suddenly out of the blue dropped out of the race.  I personally want to know was he promised to be the vice-presidential nominee if he dropped out of the race? This question is looming harder and harder in my mind as I read that Mitt Romney will be filling in for John McCain at the Texas Republican Nominating Convention.  According to the Houston Chronicle,

“Presumptive Republican nominee U.S. Sen. John McCain is passing on the Texas GOP convention next week, but he has announced that former presidential contender Mitt Romney will speak in his place. Romney is believed to be on McCain’s short list for vice president. “

We all know the enormous amount of money Romney spent in the Republican Race and then how he just suddenly dropped out.  Maybe he saved his money so he could buy his way into the Vice Presidency.  Finally though I am putting FLDS behind his name I honestly don’t have a problem with is being a Mormon, I may have problems that he came from a polygamous household and wonder if John McCain chooses Mitt Romney what this means to little girls getting their menstrual cycles early becoming the prey of men as old and older than John McCain.  I caught Romney’s conservative speech on CSPAN and it sent chills down my spine as a woman.  I’m sure in private what he had to say about black people would send chills down my spine also.

It is telling that Romney (FLDS) is speaking before the Texas State Republican Convention as a fill-in for Presumptive nominee John McCain at a time when the Texas State Supreme court is due to return 400 children to a Ranch teeming with child molesters and complacent and complacent adult women.  As a former FLDS member appears on Nancy Grace almost daily talking about the abuses to women and children suffered by she and other women almost daily by FLDS.  The Republican committee trots out FLDS to speak to one of the largest Republican delegations in the country.  Finally Romney is around fifty but polygamy was outlawed by the Mormon church 100 years ago, therefore to have come from a polygamous household, Romney must be FLDS,

I am not objecting to a Mormon in the White House.  I’ve been friends with Mormons who were just great people and I am really impressed with the Mormon Attorney General of Utah.  He is not afraid to stand up for the rights of women and children.  However, when I heard Romney speak I was so disappointed with his total self absorption and intolerance for anyone who did not believe the way he did.  It was shocking considering we would have to get over his coming from a polygamous lifestyle.   FLDS publicly espouses racism.  If Mitt Romney becomes the Vice President of the United States it will set this country back centuries in terms of women’s and minority rights.

Finally if McCain chooses Romney he will definitely bring into question whether McCain is a pervert and is making visits to the FLDS ranch in his free time.  We all are aware that Cindy McCain is a whopping twenty years younger than McCain.  Who knows maybe he’s ripe for a twelve year old now.

Detroit Free Press Reporting “Deceit Big Obstacle in Sect Case” Sect Members Pathological Liars

In Crime, politics on June 1, 2008 at 4:54 am

What is coming to light is that the folks at the Yearning for Zion Ranch and maybe all FLDS members are pathological liars.  I have heard on Nancy Grace about the torture of babies by a Former FLDS member, this is how indoctrination is started.  This is why it is so difficult to actually find out what’s going on at this ranch.

According to the Detroit Pressquoting Mark Shurtleff,  Attorney General of Utah:

“These are people who have been taught from the cradle that outsiders are bad, that government is evil, until they fear us more than they fear their abusers,”

The articlealso highlights the tactics that FLDS members use to keep from being identified.

“In a filing to the Texas Supreme Court, lawyers for the Department of Family and Protective Services said collecting evidence was difficult. Girls routinely switched names and identified themselves as mothers of other women’s children.”

Finally, it the article also highlights the fact that FLDS members don’t consider their actions and words as lies but as a means to protect their family.  Mary Mackert a former FLDS member was interviewed and she indicated the following:

“That comes as no surprise to Mary Mackert, a former FLDS member who, as a child in a polygamous family, said she was taught that her behavior could determine whether her father ended up in jail.

Her mother, she said, rehearsed lies with her children: When her father spent the night at his other wives’ houses? “Daddy’s a traveling salesman.” Why didn’t the family attend the mainstream Mormon church? “Daddy’s a Catholic.”

By the time Mackert was married — at 17, to a 50-year-old — lying was second nature, she said. When her husband was in public with her, he would ask their children to “come to Grandpa.”

“You didn’t think of it as lying. It’s your duty and your responsibility to protect those who are living the principle,” Mackert said. “They’re going to lie to protect their prophet and the head of their family.”  “

Finally the article discusses the almost unlimited cash flow the Ranch has from what they claim are FLDS businesses but which I personally believe is a front for nasty old men to pay to have sex with little girls and the ranch is essentially breeding and selling children.  From what I have heard observed and read.  There is far too much of an emphasis on getting little girls pregnant and then turning aorund and getting their daughters pregnanat.

This blogger is not condemong polygamy, she is condemning a lifestyle that appears to be based not on consensual, aware, contemplative adults, but elderly men purchasing an unlimited amount of little girls, raping and impregnating them and then sending them to the welfare office.  This is what I find problematic.  Warren Jeffs should be under the jail and never let out!

Boston. Com Discusses How Michigan Delegates Were Allocated

In Democratic Primary, Hillary Clinton, barack obama, democrats, politicians, politics, presidential primary on June 1, 2008 at 4:00 am

This blog reported yesterday about the extremely strange way Michigan Delegate votes were allocated to Barack Obama yesterday.  The published post discussed how Obama would get the results of two places on the ballot uncommitted and the write in vote.  Obama asked the voters of Michigan and even passed out handouts suggesting to people who wanted to vote for him to vote uncommitted.  We all assumed he would get uncommitted for Michigan.  We did not assume he would get the write in vote also which according to Michigan is uncounted if a candidate has not formally declared that he would run for office in Michigan write in for the candidate can not be  tallied or recorded the machine ignores them and no one knows who the write ins were for.  Since it is illegal to look at ballots, Michigan says they relied on exit polls in determining the votes Obama should have for write in.  In other words Michigan gave Obama votes without votes.

In any event I thought I was crazy and must have imagined the above because out of over 50 articles I’ve read about the “big” compromise, no one has written about it.  It’s like Michigan did not do a dirty deal to give Obama votes.  However one truth seeking newspaper is reporting how the Michigan Obama delegates were allotted also.  Joseph Williams and Bryan Bender of the Boston Globe are reporting :

“Mark Brewer, chairman of Michigan’s Democratic Party, told the panel the best solution was a compromise, based on an assessment of exit polling and other data. Brewer said Obama was entitled to 59 pledged delegates to Clinton’s 69, “a far fairer reflection of the Democratic preferences in Michigan.”

Exit polls are not the same things as votes.  Michigan did not hold an exit poll caucus.  Honestly Obama should not have been given the write in vote, and technically he should have been made to associate the uncommitted with his campaign by asking uncommitted to come forward.

Democrats Give Obama Write In Vote and Uncommitted in MI Primary

In politics on May 31, 2008 at 7:32 pm

The democrats are going on the assumption that the American people are stuck on stupid.    Everyone has been aware that Obama campaigned on the uncommitted vote in Michigan.  However today the credentials committee voted to give him the uncommitted votes and all of the write in votes.  If someone wrote in Mickey Mouse it went to Obama.  If someone wrote in Donald Duck it went to Obama.  MIchigan does not count the write in votes of undeclared candidates, therefore they have no idea who write in voters voted for, therefore they are using exit polls to allot Senator Obama his delegates.  This seems to be highly illegal and strange to give someone delegates based on no votes but an exit poll.  If this is how Democrats plan on running the White House. Count me OUT.  Be warned dear people the news will only give you the result and tell you Michigan will get a half vote for each delegate, but some of Obama’s delegates were not even votes.  They were given to him based on exit polls.  This has to fall into the category of ultimate affirmative action.  I predict a white backlash because of this that will result in a stunning loss by the democratic party unless Hillary Clinton runs as an independent which she very well should after the madness that I’ve just witnessed by the democratic credentials committee.  THIS ELECTION IS LOOKING VERY STRANGE AND IF INDIVIDUALS CAN OPENLY BE UNFAIR< IT”S MAKING ME WONDER IF THE VOTES THAT HAVE REALLY BEEN GOING TO OBAMA ARE TRULY HIS BECAUSE I KNOW EVERY BLACK WOMAN I SPOKE TO EXCEPT OBAMA SUPPORTERS SAID THEY WERE HILLARY CLINTON SUPPORTERS.

If a State Says Vote and You Don’t Vote Who’s Fault Is It?

In politics on May 31, 2008 at 1:55 pm

IF a state says vote and you don’t vote.  It’s the fault of the voter  for not voting.  It is not the fault of the state, they offered you the chance to vote you should have voted.  Furthermore, it’s the right of the citizens of a state to have their vote counted.  They voted, they thought it would count.  If your candidate takes his name off the ballot, that’s his problem.  IF he knows there is going to be a ballot he should not take his name off of the ballot.  If we are debating these issues we may as well think about them.

Obama’s Florida Man Does not Have a Clue

In politics on May 31, 2008 at 1:50 pm

If  Representative Robert Wexlar is an example of the type of people who would be helping to run the country during an Obama presidency.  We are in for Bush two.  Wexler could not tell the truth, could not answer questions asked because he was so determined to hide his real motives of trying to preserve Obama’s delegate lead and pretend that he was concerned with the people of Florida.  He was not concerned with Florida but with Obama.  He literally thought the people interested in the issues had their eyes closed and were stupid.  He argued that Clinton should be happy with the 19 out of 40 delegates that Obama was willing to concede.  He further said that 19 delegates was what she received from two states combined so Florida and Clinton should be happy with this.  When asked about fair reflection  ”proportional representation” he looked like and acted like he did not know what this meant.

Honestly,  an Obama election is looking like a Bush 2, Mccain may be Bush 2.  What are we going to do?  Prepare for Katrina 2 and pay ten dollars at the pump because the people selected are wide eyed and unaware of how to run this country.  I am so  afraid at this point.  Clinton really should consider and Independant run.  The time is now.

On the flip side Clinton supporters were very articulate, clear, and aware, and did not lie!

In a live 2NEWS interview at 5 p.m., Shurtleff called Jessop a “liar” and threatened him saying, “we put Warren Jeffs in prison here, and as for the rest of them, we will too.”

“I’ve got a word for Willie Jessop, that lives in Utah, and is defending this, and says that it isn’t going on. He’s a liar,” said Shurtleff. “If you come here to Utah and think you can wed underage girls; you’ve got to think again.”

Furthermore, Jessop, one of the FLDSleaders says the nation is in agreement with their actions of marrying twelve year olds as revealed in pictures of another FLDS leader in an intimate picture with a yonggirl, and DNA tests may confirm that this leader has impregnated four girls when they were between the ages of twelve and fourteen.  Jessop said the following: “Clearly the nation spoke tonight,” said Jessop.  referring to the decision to return the children back to the FLDS ranch.

I am a registered voter and last year I helped to register over  three hundred voters, while I am not allowed to discuss political issues while registering voters.  I seriously doubt that the majority of the folk that I registered  last year support spiritual marriages to young girls, incest, and rape.  I believe the attorney general of Utah, they are liars.

FLDS Ranch Members Accessories to the Crime of Rape, Molestation, and Child Trafficking

In Crime, politicians, politics on May 31, 2008 at 8:14 am

It seems pretty clear to me that the residents of the Zion Ranch are as guilty as HELL as it relates to these young women.  First of all if they were even on the Ranch when Warren Jeffs was separately and at different times marrying two twelves year olds, and two fourteen year olds they are guilty of a crime.  According to Kovach and Johnson of the New York Times,

“Investigators said family marriage records seized in the April raid of the group’s compound, the Yearning for Zion ranchin Eldorado, Tex., suggested that the sect’s leader, Warren S. Jeffs, had “spiritually” wed at least four under-age girls, two of them 14 at the time, the other two 12. “

This seems pretty clear to me that if a whole commune sits back and allows one man to “connect” with four underage children then this is crime.  The argument offered that parents and the courts can give permission for these marriages is bogus.  He’s already married.  Polygamy is illegal. So any other way he connects to these children is rape or statutory rape.  Since the admitted living situation is communal living where on the ranch no child belongs to the parent the belong to the ranch, then when spiritual unions occur on the Ranch then they are all accessories to the crimes of molestation, and rape.

It has been reported that the men of the ranch go away and send money to the ranch for their child brides.  If this is happening across states lines this is trafficking in children.  This is clearly illegal under Federal statutes and I am seriously questioning in my mind whether FLDS receives money from men who want child brides, furthermore the very act of recruiting members who join  and pay for a child bride is human trafficking to me.  I don’t know what the supreme court of Texas calls it but it looks illegal if it’s not.

Finally, in the  FLDS case I am heavily questioning the role of corruption in this case.  I am also aware that the FLDS has threatened political officials with some sort of massive voter takeover with their 300 votes and to overthrow and run the local government out of town which it has been reported they’ve done in other places.  Miguel Bustillo and Nicholas Riccardi of the Los Angelos Times write:

“The town also was abuzz over an anticipated mass voter registration by the FLDS. Hours after the court first ruled against the state, two members of the sect walked into the county clerk’s office and requested 300 voter registration forms, a potentially tide-turning number in a county with 1,800 voters.”

Everyone has the right to vote but when voting is used to intimidate a town because a commune is performing illegal acts.  This is reprehensible.  This is why the town, state, and Federal government must do their jobs in prosecuting these individuals for their acts against women and children.

There is still a big question mark on what the role of corrupt politicians, corrupt judges is. I seriously suspect that certain men in Texas are receiving money or child bride favors for protecting this prostitution/mistress ring.  Furthermore, some media outlets are providing a platform for the FLDS which almost appears to be a commercial for this type of lifestyle.  I even observed on commentator trying to put words in the mouth of a FLDS women he was interviewing when she was about to get caught in a lie.  The lie was no members of the FLDS were not welfare recipients but he helped her clean up this lie.  It was totally awful.  I wonder if higher up in this media organization plan to take a trip to the Zion ranch soon or other FLDS locations and get a spiritual bride that their wife probably does not know about.

Polygamy, An Ode to Gemini, Bad House Keeping, and a Challenge to Feminists and Feminism

In family, politics, state supreme court decisions, the zodiac on May 30, 2008 at 7:15 am

I have tried to avoid blogging about the Texas Polygamy case, the case where 400 children were taken from the FLDS ranch.  I am far from the perfect parent, to emphasize this, let me inform you of what’s going on in my house these days.

My daughter is refusing to get her hair combed.  Every time I touch it she screams and runs away.  Well yesterday I had to take care of an urgent matter with a friend and I had to take my daughter and her uncombed hair out the house.  I noticed upon her getting in the car that she had not put her shoes on, and I said a silent thanks to God that she would not try to get out of the car because she had no shoes.  Well I was the one who ended up with egg on my face yesterday, as we were waiting for my friend to take care of her issue, my daughter hops to the front of the car and begs me to go into the very nice building that we are in front of.    She has tied matching bath towels to the bottom of her feet and says she’s made herself some shoes.  At this point I am afraid that she’s going to bolt for the door and run in the place in all of her nappy headed bath toweled feet glory. I say no honey and tell her your hair is not combed, and bath towels on your feet are not shoes.  At this point I think it is a good time to mention that the lady at the local hair supply place has given my daughter the name of Flavette after Flavor Flav because after leaving Ross department store with a fluffy pink bathrobe one day, my daughter put it on, refused to take it off and walked around pompously, earning her the name of Flavette.  I managed to keep her from running in the building but I knew when we were about to stop for gas that I would not be able to keep her out of the convenience store.  She ran in.  I tried to wait it out so I could pretend she did not belong to me, but she took too long and I became worried so I went into the gas station to check on her and saw her at the counter.  I was very tempted to go to the back of the store and pretend that I had not seen her but relented and stood in line to pay for the gas and hoped that she would ignore me.  She was having a discussion with the cashier and told him she did not have enough money.  The man hollered did any one havethirty-four cents that they could give this little girl.  I immediately piped up with she’s mine and refuses to get her hair combed, was told not to come in the store with bath towels on her feet and is not allowed to get anything.  It must not have soaked in, a lady said I have 34 cents. I repeated myself.  My daughter left the store with no candy, and when we finally did get home she asked me to comb her hair. In addition my daughter’s main goal in life is to be a movie star she was born on Clint Eastwood’s and Brooke Shield’s Birthday, which was sort of ironic because Clint is my former husbands favorite movie star and he was fanatical about Clint and football.  Football season was what clinched the fact that we no longer wanted to be together.  In any event, my daughter was born on Clint Eastwood’s birthday, May 31 and this makes her a Gemini.  So you can get a clue of what I’m dealing with, the following celebrities are Geminis:Naomi Campbell, Angelina Jolie, Sir Laurence Olivier,  Stevie Nicks,  Henry Kissenger,  Josephine Baker, Tupac Shakur, Pam Grier, Marilyn Monroe, John Rivers, Prince, Miles Davis, Austin Powers, Sandra Bernhard,  Lisa Left Eye Lopes,  Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown, Donald Trump, Johnny Dep, and Paula Abdhul, I think I ‘ve named enough names for you to understand why the attendant at the local gas station asks me every time she sees my daughter is she still bad, because my daughter in her younger days used to manage to lay out in the middle of the outdoor gas station screaming, hollering, and kicking if I did not buy her a treat. Yes in her younger days she was bad, picnics where I hoped to network were spent prying my screaming daughter away from the attractions, because well the picnic was over and the people were trying to pull down the kiddie attractions.  In any event she is bad, she is a BADDDDDDDDDDDASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSlike the list of Geminis on the list above.  Finally she is also a literal genius in math and language arts. She scores at the top of the percentiles.

I also hesitated to write about the FLDS because I am an awful housekeeper.  I can’t get anyone to do anything in my household.  Since our dishwasher decided to die I hand wash dishes, we have the circulon brand of pots, it’s the starter set but let me tell you circulon is much better than calphalon, I bought a calphalan muffin pan and baking sheet and after about four uses calphalan was no longer non-stick. I have had cirulon for about 6 months now and it’s still amazing.   In any event we have the circulon starter set which has two sauce pans a little one and a big one.  The other day I washed the larger sauce pan three times because every time I washed it my son would come and use it, it’s like he was waiting for me to wash the pan so he could mess it up.  Finally I just gave up trying to cook what I was going to cook a twenty five cent box of macaroni and cheese with tuna and peas dumped in it with plenty of butter and pepper.  I say all this to say I am a terrible house keeper. However my son is a good son, he is a sagittarius so he displays the male Sagittarius unique characteristic of ass kissing and being an ass-hole at the same time, in any event several famous male sagittarians are Brad Pitt, Donahue, John F. Kennedy Jr, Jay-Z, Bruce Leee, and Samuel Jackson.

I hope it is understood why I would hesitate to discuss the FLDS case.  I have tried to ignore it but the final straw was seeing a photo on the Nancy Grace Show of their leader marrying and deeply kissing a girl that appeared to be no more than ten  at their apparent wedding.    I thought how disgusting I just knew that the Texas Supreme court was going to overturn a lower court decision to return the children back to the ranch; but they did not and are sending the children back to the ranch with the understanding that some limitations can be imposed and decisions can be made on a case by case basis.  The problem for me is that Jetts is a deity to them and when your deity is shown molesting a child, this must follow that FLDS members have no problem molesting children since this is the man they worship, he’s on the wall of their compound.  Children are therefore in an inherently dangerous situation by being there. This view is fully expored in this CNN Commentary  by Sonny Hoskins.

Furthermore the Supreme Court ruling that prepubescent children can be returned to their families is just not in line with current law which states that child sex offenders can not be around children period.  If they will molest an 11 year old with her period it’s also likely that they will molest a womanly looking seven year old.  It is my strong opinion that the children should  not be returned unless the women agree to move off of the ranch and not leave town and this is a condition I think the Supreme Court will uphold as a condition of their getting their children back.

My big question in this issue is”Where are the Feminists who say they work for women’s rights?”; Where is Gloria Allred, the big time Feminist?  Are we only to see them when it involves an abortion issue, a woman hollering rape against a celebrity or a big name figure.  For me personally this is a feminist issue, one that they should be financing, sending attorneys to and watching very closely.  What happens with FLDS will affect all women and girls.  It will also determine the direction our country is taking in regards to women’s rights.  FDLS is fundamentally arguing that a woman does not have the right to her own body, her own Chasity and can be given to a man at any time.  FDLS is arguing that women and girls are at the mercy of men and have no option and choices.  Feminism will be a failure if feminists do not step in to make sure that young girls are protected and not left bare foot, pregnant, trapped and option-less in a world with so many possibilities.   This is a case where people who call themselves feminists should descend on the state of Texas and provide financing to take this case to the U.S Supreme Court if nescessary.  This case prevents far more of a threat to women then the right to an abortion.  The FLDS case threatens every woman in so many fundamental ways, such as the right to even have a child belong to you, the right to property , the right to vote etc.

****According to the Chicago Tribune A state stutute can not be appealed to the U.S. Supreme court; I am sort of questioning this because some of the men putting the children in danger live beetween states, therefore making it a Federal issue; but I am not an expert.

Dean Sending Attack Dogs on Democratic Rules Committee

In Democratic Primary, democrats, politics, presidential primary on May 28, 2008 at 11:17 am

It was the assumption of most people following the Democratic Florida Michigan election controversy that the credentials committee of the Democratic Party would decide whether to accept Florida’s and Michigan’s delegates on the 31st of May.  However according to Yahoo and The Houston Chronicle Attorneys representing the Democratic Party have sent memos  to the credentials committee members on the 31st telling them what they should do.   Personally if I were Hillary Clinton I would still opt to put myself on the general Election Ballot and run as an independent.  It appears that Dean is on some sort of power play or kick.  He’s determined to rule something, and not represent the people who vote in the democratic primary.  Furthermore, I just have this feeling that the Obama campaign has interfered in this decision and it’s making me feel extremely uncomfortable.  Obama supporters prevented a revote and now from my feelings they are seeking to control the credentials committee.

Could McCain have a Woman VP up his sleeve After All Former HP President Fiorina Firmly in McCain and Republican Camp

In politicians, politics, presidential race on May 28, 2008 at 9:02 am

According to Bloomberg, Carly Fiorina, the former HP President with degrees in Medieval Studies who launched HP from what was known publicly as largely a printer only company to a multidimensional technological leader ranked second in technology; that still reaps extreme profits from her leadership years later;  is officially called the

“chairwoman of Victory ‘08, the public face of, and force behind, Republican efforts to win the White House. “

While this is a great position and should make the democrats sweat.  It seems that John McCain might be better served by choosing Fiorina to be his running mate.  While Fiorina would bring her touted experience and success as President of HP, she also brings an experience and exposure to the international world early in her life .  While some say that Barack Obama’s Kenyan background and early life in Indonesia prepares him for the Presidency; Fiorina’s  attendance at five high schools across the world and Stanford Education would make her experiences a formidable vice presidential candidate with experience in the culture of foreign nations.

In addition Fiorina’s experience with gender issues would provide a healthy outlet for Clintonites disappointed because Clinton did not receive the democratic nomination,  my first exposure to Fiorina’s unique approach to gender issues was by reading her commencement speech to the predominately Black College and University Nort Carolina A&T; she recounts in the speech how she dealt with being told by colleagues that she could not attend a meeting with a client because their meeting with him was customarily held at a strip club.  Fiorina recounts the following:

“In those early days, I was put in a program at the time called the Management Development Program. It was sort of an accelerated up-or-out program, and I was thrown into the middle of a group of all male sales managers who had been there quite a long time, and they thought it was their job to show me a thing or two. A client was coming to town and we had decided that we were getting together for lunch to introduce me to this customer who was important to one of my accounts. Now the day before this meeting was to occur, one of my male colleagues came to me and said, “You know, Carly, I’m really sorry. I know we’ve had this planned for a long time, but this customer has a favorite restaurant here in Washington, D.C., and they really want to go to that restaurant, and we need to do what the customer wants, and so I don’t think you’ll be able to join us.”
“Why is that?” I asked. Well, the restaurant was called the Board Room. Now, the Board Room back then was a restaurant on Vermont Avenue in Washington, D.C., and it was a strip club. In fact, it was famous because the young women who worked there would wear these completely see-through baby doll negligees, and they would dance on top of the tables while the patrons ate lunch. The customer wanted to go there, and so my male colleagues were going there. So I thought about it for about two hours. I remember sitting in the ladies room thinking, “Oh God, what am I going to do? And finally I came back and said, “You know, I hope it won’t make you too uncomfortable, but I think I’m going to come to lunch anyway.”

Now, I have to tell you I was scared to death. So the morning arrived when I had to go to the Board Room and meet my client, and I chose my outfit carefully. I dressed in my most conservative suit. I carried a briefcase like a shield of honor. I got in a cab. When I told the taxi driver where I wanted to go he whipped around in his seat and said, “You’re kidding right?” I think he thought I was a new act

In any event, I arrived, I got out, I took a deep breath, I straightened my bow tie, and went in the door – and you have to picture this – I go into the door, there’s a long bar down one side, there’s a stage right in front of me, and my colleagues are sitting way on the other side of the room. And there’s a live act going on the stage. The only way I could get to them was to walk along that stage. I did. I looked like a complete idiot. I sat down, we had lunch.
Now, there are two ends to that story. One is that my male colleagues never did that to me again. But the other end to the story, which I still find inspiring, is that all throughout lunch they kept trying to get those young women to dance in their negligees on top of our table — and every one of those young women came over, looked the situation over and said, “Not until the lady leaves”

Now this is the way to handle such a situation, no law suits, no screaming etc.  She won over the day and had a story to tell that all people could learn from.  This is the type of behavior most women can relate to.  In any event Fiorina would definitely serve to appease the radical Clintonites.

However, she would also serve to ally the fears of people who are concerned about John McCains age.  If anything happened to John McCain she would be ready to lead on day one.  A Fiorina Vice Presidency would also take the so called high end voters who are voting for Barack Obama.  While Firorina probably would not bring many black voters to the table, she has shown a commitment to diversity while President of HP by initiating a wide range of diversity programs.

Clinton Donor’s Keeping the Faith in Her Candidacy

In Democratic Primary, Hillary Clinton, barack obama, democrats, politics, presidential primary on May 28, 2008 at 5:02 am

Clinton lost me after the RFK comment.  While there are several reasons that she could have made the remarks, one being it had such a profound effect on her when she was twenty years old it’s constnatly in the back of her mind, and it is a unique case on terms of what to do.   I still believe the comment was a wishful thinking gaffe.  Obviously the Clinton Donors must be engaging in wishful thinking according to the San Francisco Chronicle, donors are still raising money for Hillary Clinton.  They hope that the rules will be broken.

You know I have had sympathy for Hillary Clinton’s cause and do believe that the voters of Michigan and Florida should have been heard.  However, if voters are not allowed to vote in either state I beleive it should remain status quo.  The bottom line is if the voters really wanted a revote they would have demanded one and the excuse that Barack Obama and his suopporters were not open to a revote should not have detered anyone.  This would have been the fair thing to do and maybe it can be done but the voters should be heard in the right manner.  However barring a revote the rules shoulstand as is.  I weebled and wobbled on this issue however I remebered a tic tac toe game that I played with my  daughter when whe was in first grade.  I made the mistake of showing her how to win first and then olaying tic tac toe with her.  When two  people know how to play this game usually noone wins.  However my daughter came up with a new rule so she could be the winner she took her pencil and drew a C with three of her X moves and said I won.  I made a C.  For several weeks we would play and she would continue to make a C and I would tell her that she had not won but she refused to hear me.  Finally, I redused to play with her because of this she did not care she preceeded to play with herself after that.  As for me when it first happened I thought “wow” if I would have known that another way of winning was to make a c between the boxes I may have considered playing that way then again I may not have played at all.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about this tic tac toe game and I know realize that though the rules made by Dean are stupid.  Each candidate agreed to the rules  and prepared their campaign by the rules and to change them would be cheating.

McCains Refusal to Vote for the GI Bill is Just Plain Mean

In Education, politics, republicans on May 27, 2008 at 9:35 pm

John McCain has evaluated and vetoed the Webb GI Educational Assistance Act  .  The act would provide free tuition up to the amount of the most expensive public college in the state and housing to service men who have served as Active Duty servicemen.  The amount would be based upon the amount of service given.  If a serviceman serves three years in the military which is a full tour of duty, the serviceman will receive four years tuition and board.  According to the bill the serviceman would not be eligible to receive funds from other federal programs.  For servicemen who choose to go to institutions that exceed the cost of a public college the federal government would match funds given by these institutions to the servicemen.

John McCain in vetoing this bill has shown a very cavalier attitude and insensitive attitude towards the troops who protect our country in several ways.  The first way he has shown his disrespect and contempt for the troops is by not extending to the troops the same privileges and rights this country extended to him when he attended the Naval Academy.  Any student who attends a Federal Military Academy is extended free Tuition and Board for the entire time that they attend.  Therefore attendance at WestPoint, The Naval Academy, and The Air Force Academy is free.  John McCain did not pay a cent for his Military education and the refusal to grant servicemen who have already served our country the same right extended to those who have not ever served or country and may never serve our country is reprehensible and shameful.

In addition, the argument that extendeding these benefits to GI’s for one tour of duty would reduce the troop ratio by 16%is just an awful argument.  If 16% of troops serve a full tour of duty and decide that they want to go and get an education the honest truth is maybe they did not want to be in the military in the first place and may have joined the military because they could not afford an education.  If they are willing to put their aspirations and desires on the back burner to serve their country, to literally risk their lives, there should be nothing their country would not do to reciprocate.  These are troops joining the military in the absence of a draft and they could literally lose their lives for this service.  This should be repayed.

In addition if one were to really be concerned with the 16% of troop attrition that John McCain says that he’s concerned with, the terms of the Gi Educational Bill could possibly encourage more individuals to join the military.  Finally some people who join the military absolutely and positively do not want to pursue higher education this is why they chose to join the military.

McCains veto of this bill brings up a very real concern that he does not have the compassion and concern for citizens of the United States that a President should possess.  His veto of the bill is a very cold action and a slap in the face to people who could die at any moment serving this country.  I suppose the question for McCain is what does he think the value of a life is.  Insurance companies that are sued because of loss of life often pay upwards of 200,000 dollars for a lost life and McCain obviously feels the value of a life is much less than this.

Twice as Many Iraq War Vets Running for Elective Office Call Themselves Republicans Negates the Democrats Case for Iraq

In Congress, Iraq, Presidential Election, Veterans on May 27, 2008 at 12:10 pm

One of the rallying calls of the Democratic Party is that they need to hold office so that they can withdraw from Iraq and bring our troops back home but according to an article in USA Today twice as many Iraq Vets who are running for elective office consider themselves Republicans and do not want to with draw from Iraq.  USA Today says the following about the Republican Vets:

“ Republican candidates are “pro-victory,” says Kieran Michael Lalor, a Republican candidate in New York and the founder of Iraq Vets for Congress, a group of Republican House candidates. “No good comes from a precipitous withdrawal and a lot of good would come from a stable functioning democracy in the Middle East.”

This blog has expressed the same sentiments.  Prior to 911 and Post 911 many articles have been writeen about the Middle East Terrorist threat.  I personally think that winning Iraq and putting military bases in Iraq is key to out interests so  that we can be aware when future radical movements are birthed and present a threat to the United States of America.

USA today goes on to quote Lalor as saying the following:

“This isn’t the people 40 years ago who came to Washington to protest. These are people who want to come to D.C. so we can take the fight to (Osama) bin Laden.”

The majority of candidates running this year are definitely “anti-move” and through first hand expereince beleive that the case has been proven to them for a continued presence in Iraq.

Why Did You say that Hillary? Clinton Raises Concerns that Obama Could be Assassinated “one of the Reasons She’s staying in the Race

In Democratic Primary, Hillary Clinton, Race, barack obama, democrats, politicians, politics, presidential primary, presidential race on May 23, 2008 at 6:13 pm

and one big reason Clinton should not be VP to Barack Obama.  In justifying why she should stay in the race until June. Clinton did a recitation of candidates that stayed in late and won and then she said something to the effect “Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June” she, says she meant no harm, and it was not directed towards Obama, but let me tell everyone this, I heard Obama’s name and it was not even mentioned.  Hillary you are married to the former president of the United States and I’m sure he still has assassination contacts who are from your perspective trying to get the job done.  In addition Huckabee’s public plea for someone to kill Obama by jumping on the ground like he was trying to dodge a bullet is proving that maybe Michelle Obama might have to reserve her pride in this country for the day her husband leaves the office of the president alive and well.  From an International perspective this is so embarassing, I was seriously doubting whether the UN needed to go forth with their plan to do a study of racism in the United States but now I am assured they must.  Finally, Hillary you have been jumping on so many peoples bandwagons, the white supremacists argument, the feminist argument I am seriously beginning to think that you have totally lost it.  It is my full belief that any human who runs for president is a crazy egomaniac but the past field of presidential candidates are getting their egos bruised because they have lost, are losing or will lose to a man that is the color brown.  The Clinton and Huckabee attitudes prove that there is no blood argument for who should be first in the white house a person of slave descent or a person of native Kenyan descent with a white American mother.  The threshold for the rich white people who want to have power and keep power is that they just don’t want a man who is the color brown or black to be in the White House.  I was born after the sixties and have gone through many election cycles and I have never heard a political candidate threatened as much as Obama, I have never even heard of  any one even implying that a political candidate could be assassinated.  I don’t think I ‘m going to change my mind again this time, I don’t think there is anything Hillary Clinton can do to make me want to support her anymore.

This is the one thing I do know Obama will not be assassinatedeven though there seems to be this massive racists call for someone to do something about it.  I have realized that Obama’s is winning because he’s an Eagle he flies higher.  The thing he, his family and his supporters  need to do is  not give off the energy that something could happen to him, know that he will live that nothing will happen and believe it.  The media has to stop reporting this stuff because they are stirring up some primal call that is not going to happen.  Hillary I think you may seriously need to retire to your rocker because it’s looking like you will do anything to be president and that’s not good.  I think at this point I’m going to have to let you go, and wear my Obama T-Shirt tomorrowt to indicate my solidarity with a movement that insists upon change.  At this juncture I have no choice but to be an Obama supporter.  There is no where else to go.

Hillary Clinton has a 30 million dollar or more war chest to run as an Independent in the General Election
